How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewWe loved this stay- it was fantastic to stay on a working but peaceful farm! Gorgeous scenery, delicious breakfasts and a very clean room. Even a fridge with farmyard snacks and drinks available to buy out of hours. The hosts had thought of everything! Lots of great outdoor seating, we particularly liked the hammock for relaxing in the mornings and evenings - great views of the stars on clear nights too We enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of Bled but the hosts of the farm lent us bikes so we were able to get around easily without hiring a car.
Our room was quite near a lot of outdoor toys which meant we heard a lot of children playing like they were in our room! Next time we’d prefer to stay in a slightly different part of the site.

Verified reviewWe stayed here for 4 nights and truly enjoyed our time. The accommodation is located just outside Bled, in a quiet, picturesque Alpine village surrounded by beautiful mountain views. The house sits at the edge of the village, offering peace and privacy, yet it's only a 10-minute walk to Lake Bled. We booked the superior room, which came with a balcony overlooking the mountains, air conditioning, a larger space, a functional bathroom (with a hairdryer), a mini fridge, and a wardrobe to store our things. Despite this being a working farm with animals, we were surprised by how peaceful and quiet everything was – we didn’t hear a thing. Breakfasts were homemade, as expected from a farm, and made with local ingredients. There’s also a large garden with lounge chairs, a wooden gazebo, playground equipment, and even a treehouse – great for families with children or for relaxing after a hike. Although the village doesn’t have restaurants, the town of Bled is very close (3 minutes by car), and you can find plenty of options there. Staff was very kind and accommodating. Breakfast is normally served at 8:00 AM, but since we planned a 10-hour hike, we asked for an earlier time – and they were happy to serve us at 6:30 AM, which we really appreciated. From this location, it’s easy to reach other destinations by car, Lake Bohinj under 30 min, Podljubelj mountain tunnel (starting point for hiking) about 30 min Free on-site parking was always available and convenient. Overall, this is a wonderful place for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone looking to enjoy Bled while staying in a peaceful Alpine setting.
The doublebed were unfortunately separated, which might not be ideal for couples.

Verified reviewLocation. Peaceful and quite environment with lots of nature but still next to Bled itself. Hosts are really nice and worm. Parking. There is a dedicated parking for each room/appartment.
This is minor but would be good if, at least one of the room windows have a net over it to protect it from mosquitos and wasps. We had a few od them. Not a big problem, but still would be nice to have.

Verified reviewBreakfast with local products.
In the add it says there is a common kitchen but it’s only located in the other building on the second floor. It’s quite of a hassle to go to the other building just to grab a tea and walk down the steep stairs. The name says farm and I was expecting to see more animals - not just cows.

Verified reviewVery good breakfasts of home-made products. A place with history, more than two hundred years old farm located in a small, quiet hamlet, twenty minutes walk from Lake Bled. Highly recommended.

Verified reviewkitchen equipment was very rich. there was also a refrigerator and a sandwich maker. fork knife scissors what is needed to prepare a lunch
maybe there should be a TV in the room, but it wasn't really a problem that there wasn't a TV. because the environment, the surroundings, Lake BLEDI, is so beautiful that one really stays inside the room

Verified reviewThe farm is a short drive from Bled, there is plenty of parking, the beds were comfortable enough, and the breakfast was very good. The young manager was very friendly.
A bit pricey. There is no TV, there are no supplies in the kitchenet (basics as coffee, tea, sugar, milk), the roads in the vicinity of the place are very narrow with poor visibility. In a hot day there are many mosquitos and other bugs.

Verified reviewGreat owner with superb fresh breakfast (lot of home made local products incl. yoghurt and great honey!) and enough options. Good coffee, nice simple but clean rooms with a good shower and airconditioning. Really great spot for kids as well as they can safely play around the farm. A car or bike is required.
