If you like the mountains, space and are able to set fire in the stove (needed even in summer to heat the water), this chalet is for you. If you prefer a crowded hotel with wellness and all-inclusive, better looking for accommodation in the valley. There's a hut "Kosijev dom" 200 meters above the hut, making typical local meals, ideal for the dinner after a hiking day. The kitchen closes at 18:30, the bar runs longer. Triglav is accessible from the chalet, but due to the length of the hike, you'll need to arrange at least one sleeping at one of the huts close to the peak.

Very nice, remote wood cabin in the middle of a forest. The owner is very nice and helpful. The parking lot is about 15 minutes walk from the house.

    Not much to say.

Location of Górska hiška is amazing. it is located near two breathtaking view points, it is also great starting point for hiking. Roman is very kind and helpful host. Before arrival, remember to do groceries and bring with you what you need, because the nearest store is a bit far.

You need to be aware that this is a mountain hut, so you may be accompanied by ants and other small bugs.

Extremely beautiful location of a sweet little Chalet. The host was really nice and helpful. It is simple of course as it is in a remote location but there is Electricity running water with the options to heat it. I would really recommend it

A perfect location for people who want to get out in the middle of nowhere - a great experience. You can sit and relax, listen to the wildlife and a good spot for hikers - it's a good idea to make sure you know exactly where the cabin is located so you can plan walks, food etc. Everything you need is in the cabin. Chopped wood is provided and you can chop more if needed. Solar panels for electricity and hot water heated by lighting a fire (hot on arrival but if you are there for a few days you'll need to keep it going if you would like hot water). The fridge is located outside in a shed. There is a great viewpoint of the lake just 10 minutes from the cabin. 15 minute walk in the other direction is somewhere you can eat - but we would definitely suggest stocking up with food before you get there. The host is lovely and meets you at the car drop off point to take you and your luggage to the cabin. He was very helpful and gave tips about walks/routes.

We enjoyed it all but would advise that a car is needed as well as confidence with driving - to get to the area where you leave the car you drive up a very windy and narrow road. Not a negative but something to be aware of. One of us found the bed/bedding uncomfortable but that's down to preference.
