How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

The shower needs a curtain or screen to stop water going all over the place. Overall the place is old/dated, but met our needs for a one night stay.
Parking for the car, friendly helpful staff. We stayed here in 2007 on our first trip to Slovenia, and couldn't resist the urge to stay again!

Room and balcony were not really clean with dirty mattresses, missing shower doors and non functioning fridge.

The AC didn’t work and the room was too hot. The hotel is close to a busy road and it was difficult to sleep at night with an open window due to the noise.
The hotel is conveniently located, there is parking right outside. The staff was great and the communication was very easy. The room was completely fine apart from the fact that the AC didn’t work

After 9.pm everything is closed. You can’t get even a drink. They should have put at least a vending machine.
Very convenient place for those who are on the road to stay overnight. Very clean and comfortable.

However, I was disappointed that there was no fridge in the room and that only large towels were provided – no small face towels. Also, the furniture in the room felt a bit outdated.
I liked that free parking was available, the room had carpeted floors, and breakfast could be enjoyed on the restaurant terrace, which offers a lovely view and fresh air.

The room has 2 mattresses instead of a big single one and the appearance of the room is not so great.
The location has a parking lot nearby with a bus to the city center easily reachable. The room was clean.

The spa was expensive at €19 for two hours and not really worth it. I would have expected it to be included in the cost of the stay.
Quiet area. Good place to go for a walk / run on the hill opposite. Decent sized room. Comfortable. Handy for Ljubljana and surrounding region if you have a car.

The bathroom was really out dated. Maybe they can do something about it. But I was glad and thankful to stay there.
Coming from a bad situation and had to leave immediately from the house where I was in before, this hotel had a room available for me. The working people there were very kind and professional and made me feel safe. The room was basic, bit good enough and clean. I will come back there because of the location, the working people and how nice it was.

The bed because it had two separate mattresses and I was unable to sleep close to my partner due to the space between two mattresses.

The shower didn't have any doors so the water would be splashing everywhere

Location was poor because the street passing the hotel is too near.
The place is worth the money. Very clean place and nice staff. Location is not the best, there is a lot of traffic and a quite big street just few meters from the building. Dog friendly. Near the airport.

Simple, clean and organized hotel with attentive staff. It's not a luxurious hotel, but it does its job very well. Safe, quiet, with good internet and a restaurant overlooking the highway and as far as the eye can see. There are free car spaces right in front of the hotel. It's just a little far from the city center, but it's that´s fine if you have a car. I, within my style and travel profile, recommend it.

Very busy road.
Very nice staff. Clean and tidy room with airco. Location perfect for our travel from the Netherlands to Croatia. Staff was very accurate with food allergies.

The room we got was not the room we booked. We booked two bedroom suite with a living room that has additional bed, but we instead got a room / suite with bunk bed & only one bedroom.
Staff was very hostful. The room was clean.
