There was nothing explicitly wrong with the rooms, just one nitpick about the maintenance as the shower was leaking. Also the staff in the restaurant could’ve been more polite. We missed fresh fruit juices for breakfast.

The hotel is very close to the Lipizzaner. The rooms were splendid- good design, clean and cozy. The manager at the reception was accommodating. Breakfast was good.

There is a casino right next to the hotel. It is quite well separated, but there was noticeably more traffic in the evenings than we expected. This detracts a little from the atmosphere. A swimming pool would greatly enhance the services, but I hear that construction is already underway. The friendliness of the staff was mixed. There is no doubt about their professionalism, but sometimes a smile would have added a lot to the overall picture. The room could have been few m2 larger, but it is okay. The breakfast was good, but over several days the selection can be a little poor compared to other similar quality hotels.

The horses and the beautiful surroundings enchanted both the children and us. The hotel is in very good condition, with lots of unique design elements that bring out the modern atmosphere of the history of horse breeding here. Italy is just a few minutes away from the hotel, and Trieste, Piran and Koper are also within easy reach. I really enjoyed the room design as well. The bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast and dinner buffet were disappointment. We were expecting better quality food selection. It seemed that both were designed for large bus tourist groups and they weren't in line with premises in general.

If you are a horse person, the location of the hotel is ideal. You are in the middle of the stud farm and the surroundings are beautiful. The hotel itself is quite new and the rooms are spacious. Surroundings are very peaceful.

Many attractions are on the horse farm (with a 10% discount for the hotel guests). Possible for walking along horse pastures.

No central switch for light bulbs at the entrance and at the bed. Many on/off switches and wires of lights not connected of manually controlled which disturbs the sleep at night if it's not easy to use. The beds are also semi attached which was broken which causes a gap between partners in bed at night. These design and maintenance flaws ate essential to be solved soon.

A pool would be fantastic. And maybe a bar/cafe that would serve lighter meal options in a broader time span (would make it easier when travelling with kids). But amazing place!
