Hotel looks quite old and does not really have a warm touch. Also the restaurant and bar was close and everything else was in smatno, therfore we would have preferred a hotel there. Price quite high for what you get

The bedrooms are simple but confortable and the bathrooms are clean with big showers. The view from the bedroom was amazing. Breakfast was good with a mix of fruit, eggs, cereal and cold/hot drinks. Staff is kind!

The hotel needs some serious renovations. It is run down. The air conditioning was not functioning properly and the toilet was making loud noises whole night. For the price we paid (150eur/night), the value for money is not there. Also, we stayed locked out od the room, due to some issues with door. Multiple and better options in the area.

Location of the hotel is great, in the middle of the vineyards.

I think that for the price you are paying, this hotel should offer more - for example bed was really bad (soft and making sound even at the slightest moving), the air-conditioning was not working properly and the rooms were too hot, the refrigerator was not working and also TV did not work. The check-in process was catastrophic (since we were there for the wine festival and we were checking about the option to get the key earlier and to maybe at least leave our luggage, but at the end this was not possible, even after confirming this option while checking in advance). Also the self check-in with the locker was not working and our friends who have done everything needed for the self check-in still had to wait in a line to get the key.

I liked the location of the hotel and the view from the teras during breakfast and I liked a lot the friendliness of the staff. A good option was also later check-out (at noon).

Absurd and expensive request of 30€/day for the dog and this was not notified before arrival (other hotels/b&bs in other towns requested 8/10€ per day); Restaurant was closed and we discovered it upon arrival; Dead Flies and bugs in the halls and stairs; No labels of the breakfast food (what it was, ingredients..); Espresso not included in the breakfast, we had to pay for it and nobody notified us about it beforehand.

Hotel Kozana is a perfect place to stay during your visit to Goriska Brda. It is located in a Beautiful area, within a walking distance from beautiful village Smartno. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, everything was clean. Staff was also very friendly. Included breakfast was very tasty.
