I had a great one night stay at Joe's. The owner, Riccardo is very kind , and absolutely helpful. He has a rich life story to share with you, about his bike trips around the world over decades. Clean and calm private room. The shared kitchen offers tea , coffee, bread and jam for breakfast. The neighbourhood's so peaceful and I really enjoyed a slow morning, and the view of the mountains around, it is spacious.

Thea bedstead needs to be changed because the springs have become too unstable

This is a typical old Slovenian house of the mountains restyled to accommodate guests on a budget. Everywhere has been covered with wood and the feeling is very cozy and unique. I slept very well in a big spacious and silent room at the second floor of the main building. There is a second small building nearby where guests have a kitchen at disposal, where you can find everything for your breakfast in the morning and something during the day. On the second floor of the kitchen building there is a leisure room, with big sofas, a TV set, some books. Everywhere in the buildings the furniture is very very good and unique, as it was chosen from old pieces of very good quality (e.g. the sofas are made of leather, chairs in the kitchen are covered with tapestries' style fabrics, each piece of furniture is different in design). Also to be noted is that everywhere it is extremely clean and the host is really super kind as everyone said in the comments I read before arriving.

Joe's place was lovely! I only stayed one night but got to meet other travellers and have a nice chat with Joe as a fellow biker about his motorcycle adventures. The room was the perfect size, the bed was comfortable, and the garden was wonderful to chill and read. I would definitely stay there again!

It was a bit cold without central heating, but the owner provides us with an oil radiator which helped a lot.

Friendly and extremely helpful owner who gave us really great advice on local attractions. The room is very comfortable and spacious. It was a lot better than what I expected based on photos, for example. I expected hostel quality facilities, but it was much more like an apartment. The shared kitchen is brilliant, very well equipped, I really recommend using it. It was a fantastic stay there, absolutely recommended!!

No heater availabe (although in the mountains). A small scorpio found in the bathroom. Two separate beds instead of double bed as booked. A moistness and mold smell in the corridor (not in the room). Check-in till 19:00 only can be too early for travellers.

Perfect location for overnight stavy when travelling (directly on the main road). Fiendly owner who privided as with the hair dryer to dry up our boots and gloves (we arrived at heavy rain). Covered parking place for motorbikes. Well-equipped and clean (shared) kitchen/eating room with tea/coffee/jam/butter etc. avilable.
