How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There was the continuous very unpleasant noise which disturbing us specially during night, it was inside of hotel and source was some equipment….I guess that this issue was relevant also for rooms next to our room…..it is sad that we paid more for this room due to view to lake… It is a pity because further services were on appropriate level

Verified reviewThe hotel has the best location being right at the lake and within walking distance to a range of restaurants and activities.The staff is wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. We had a room with lake view, which was obstructed a bit by the trees! But the room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was nice too. Breakfast was great with so many choices.
The air conditioning unit is behind heavy curtains, so when you close the drapes there’s hardy any air coming through. Who designed this? There’s no waste basket in the room. A few extra packets of coffee and creamer would be welcome, only 2 are offered.

Verified reviewThe room's view out onto the lake, castle and island was gorgeous. The restaurant/breakfast hall with massive wall-high panoramic window façade is absolutely jaw-dropping. Staff were unreservedly courteous and accommodating. The breakfast buffet complete with a range of warm options and dripping honeycomb is more than generous.
Wish there was an "official" side entrance out onto the lake promenade and properly designed stairway connecting to the lobby area instead of the bare emergency one.

Verified reviewPerfect location for a trip to Bled, amazing pool with view over the lake, the staff were super nice and always helpful with tips on what to see in the area. Extensive breakfast buffet with fresh waffles and pancakes.
The dinner at the restaurant was not great value for money, when the dessert or the cheese was gone from the buffet it was not refilled.

Verified reviewVery central to the town and lake. Once the car was in the parking no need to use it. We used the pool and really enjoyed that. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices. Considering the hotel was very busy they did that well. We enjoyed walking around the lake and taking a boat out to the island. We also enjoyed walking to one of the lakeside bars in the evening and enjoying some music
We ate dinner in the restaurant first evening and it was incredibly ordinary to say the least. Try one in the town or next door where we ate the next night which was fabulous.

The car park was very busy and tricky to find a space.

Verified reviewHotel Park has premium location with indescribable vistas of the lake and castle overlooking it. It’s located in the center of the city, with walking distance to all attractions around the lake. Hotel staff is dedicated to provide their guests with the best experience possible. They surprised us with bottle of champagne to commemorate our wedding anniversary. We were impressed with Maja Š who’s their concierge and Maria from the reception. Both of these ladies poured their heart into providing excellent service to their guests.
Hotel has undergone serious renovation for quite a while. Needs some upgrades

It is quite expensive, you pay for the location but I feel like the price of the hotel it isn’t as fancy as it is portrayed in pictures. The pool was also not working, they didn’t tell you until you arrived and only compensation was being able to access the pool from another of their hotels which was just inconvenient.

No ramp for stroller/ wheelchair, we had to carry it on the stairs to access any entrance (broken lift for the back entrance) The check in was problematic. The staff was overwhelmed and people waiting in line to check in.

Unadequate parking charged 10 Euros per day by the hotel. I stuck with my car on the curb where parking was assigned for us. Parking shoud be free of charge, especially this kind of parking.
