NetherlandsMatrass was old, sagged in the middle and poor quility. Surprisingly no kitchen as mentioned on Booking.com, cooked ourselves on a brought camping pit. Room had one window, but was smelly with insufficient fresh airflow. Room is equipped with 4 wooden bunkbeds, double-bed below with single bed above. For us in low-season okay, otherwise very crowdy.
Our accomodation was okay. The location was quiet and the landlord friendly (not the owner but a friend of the owner). Quiet place in cosy town with nice small church nearby and view on Bled castle. It was clean with spacious and well-equiped bathroom. Spacious clean bed-room. Nice entrance and good sofa. Washing machine and dryer available.

IrelandNot great a hostel as there was no cooking facilities, fridge or common area. Owner walked in and out of the room without knocking. Toilet and shower in the same room for 10 people. No air conditioning and quite far away from the town of Bled. Not to be mixed up with Bled Hostel.

PortugalThe place was advertised as a hostel, which is not the case. It is a shared bedroom for 8 people with just one bathroom, stinky bedsheets, no WiFi, no kitchen, and full of very noisy guests. We only managed to get in after a local guest saw us and opened the door, because there was no one at the reception, even though I had sent a message hours in advance informing our ETA. We did receive an automated message through booking asking us to call them with 30 minutes in advance, but we were trying to avoid that because of extra phone costs on our contract. In the end I had to call, even though I was in their own premises, already. They've got lockers, but they're so lost that we did not have a locker available to us, because someone else had taken our keys (which is likely to happen everyday as the keys stay in an open mailbox and anyone can grab any key). In other words, the locker was open, but we could not lock anything inside, which makes it a wardrobe, and not a locker. Not nice if you want to leave some valuables inside. We were also charged extra €10 for parking which was not informed at their page, and felt really out of place because the parking was full and we had to park in a grassy land near the hotel. It was by far the worst accomodation I ever stayed, and I wonder how come Booking still allow such a place to still be listed in their service. I never had anything near this experience in the times I used Airbnb...

United KingdomThe staff were not at reception for over 24hrs and the contact numbers provided didn’t work, a couple staying in the apartments above had to assist me with finding someone, finding the keys to my locker and showing me where I was staying. The photos I’ve attached show that the hostel they’re advertising is a complete scam. The hostel maybe looked like their photos once but not anymore. There was food, rubbish and dirt all over the rooms, bins were all full, leaving us to use a half full, smelly bin bag for the first day, used contact lenses, toothbrushes, used wash clothes and towels were left all around the sinks and bathroom. The drainage within the bathroom didn’t work so when the shower was used the water stayed flooding the floor, when I asked the staff member how often the rooms and bedrooom got cleaned he said the bathroom was cleaned atleast once a day (from the photos this didn’t seem true), but the bedroom was not up to him to keep clean. We had booked to stay 3 nights but upon arrival in regards to lack of staff and lack of hygiene we only stayed 1 and booked accommodation elsewhere after the first night. Before leaving the next morning I began taking pictures so I had proof off everything in claiming but this aggravated one of the staff members into screaming in my face to leave and trying to grab my phone out of my hand multiple times, he then began shouting about calling the police so we swiftly left, I was left very shaky and panicky after this whole ordeal. Please think twice before booking with this accommodation and don’t make the same mistake I did.

LatviaThe beds were squeaking and by climbing up or down from the bunk beds it made a lot of noise which would wake others up. The property owners weren’t there and getting inside the property wasn’t easy.
It was accessible from the Bled city. We were walking from there and it took like 30minutes. The property ensured that every guest had a blanket, a pillow, toilet paper and a towel. There was a shower, washing and drying machines, sink and a toilet. The stay was very pleasant and the other guests were polite too.

United KingdomNo person to greet us at reception. We had to ring the agency multiple times to get the host to come give us our keys. When the host arrived he was very aggressive, we actually thought he was already drunk. He proceeded to tell us that we would be staying in bed no.6 which was unclean- it had stains and the bed was unmade . Was asked for it to be cleaned and he did not understand English, so we rang the agency to translate this to him. He kept telling us it was clean and if we didn’t like it we could leave. He was also walking about the hostel with a cigarette lit in his mouth and was also antagonising us by pushing us in the chest and continuing to get more aggressive. We were not happy with our stay until we were able to get clean bed linen for our bed. Also our locked was broken from the first day we got there so I did not feel safe in this accommodation. No air conditioning as advertised, no breakfast as advertised. The location was very isolated from the bled town so we were walking up dark fields to our accommodation at night which was inconvenient

Czech RepublicExtra parking fee. Cant pay with card. The beds were bunkbeds but this information was missing when booking. Extremly loud sounds of waste pipe from accomodation above - flushing toilets etc.
The bathroom was nice and modern. There was washer and drier available. Everything was clean and tidy.

GermanyMy experience at this place was quite frustrating. Upon arrival, we were unexpectedly charged an extra 10€ for parking, which was never mentioned anywhere prior. The person at the counter couldn't communicate in English or any other language we knew, so he had to call someone else. Unfortunately, that person wasn't helpful at all and kept repeating himself. Later on, I received a call instructing me to move my car again, despite explaining multiple times that I would first unload my belongings and then relocate it. On the bright side, the person who called was very friendly and informed me about a free parking lot a couple of hundred meters down the road. The dorm beds were a major disappointment. They squeaked so loudly that every time someone moved, it would wake everyone up. This was particularly bothersome since I'm usually not a light sleeper and have stayed in hostel dorms many times before. The biggest inconvenience was the bathroom situation. Having one bathroom for 12 people was simply not enough, especially considering that it was located within the dorm room itself. Trying to be quiet in such a setup was virtually impossible, as the toilet and shower were also part of the same room.
The bathroom was a plus since it had a great shower.
