CroatiaThe only downside is the WiFi: sometimes it simply doesn't work, and when it does, it’s quite slow and unstable.
Charming little hotel, located just around the corner from the main city street. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations or small details that make you feel at home. The wellness area (charged extra, but with a nice discount for hotel guests) is a real highlight – it works on a private basis, so you can truly relax without crowds, making it perfect for couples or anyone looking for privacy. Breakfast is another strong point: it’s rich in local specialties, fresh pastries, cheeses, and seasonal products, so you really get a taste of the region. Rooms are cozy, nicely decorated, and well maintained, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you might need. The atmosphere of the whole hotel is warm and personal, very different from big chain hotels. All in all, it’s a perfect choice for a short city break or a relaxing weekend. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who values comfort, authenticity, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Peter is an exceptionally professional host: he is attentive, efficient, kind, and always finds the most suitable solutions to meet your needs, often going above and beyond to surprise you! :) We chose the hotel sqince 2 years because of the quality of the rooms, and also the restaurant. This time we had 2 amazing dinners for our birthday anniversary. The food is extremely qualitative, we are eating better there than in France haha ! If you are looking for a restaurant where you are having not only a good meal, but also a great experience I definitely recommand it. Sasha was our waiter for our 2 dinners, and he is very professionnal ! We loved the Karin's and Igor's ;) cuisine, it was such a delicious meal each time. You can be surprised, amazed and fullfill at the same time ! :) And also the breakfast is really delicious, I like the fact that they are making eggs on demand, and serving you the best juicies ever. Everything is local and delicious ! Thank's to those people and the efforts they are putting to be as close as possible to perfection, you can only be happy coming to Hisa Ancka :)

Great hotel, with a warm welcome by the staff and owner. Excellent meal in the evening where we got to taste some lovely Slovenian food, including the pumpkin seed oil. The breakfast of homemade foods (sourdough breads and jams especially) was one of the best we’ve had. Highly recommend a stay in this hotel, and/or meal at the restaurant.

Dazzling experience. I was treated so incredibly warmly, personally, and kindly-the room was so classy and beautiful, the bed soft and comfortable-I slept for a solid 8.5 hours without waking up (and that’s saying something.). The food! Oh my god. Delicious local offerings as well as conventional foods, delicious local wines and liquors. I wish I could go back now.
