Cleanliness could have been a lot better

We knew that the room would be small, but it was so tiny that the only space left between the beds was completely occupied by our two suitcases. Apart from two tiny night stands screwed to the wall there was absolutely nowhere to put any stuff. The air conditioning in our room was broken and after 5 minutes in the room there was absolutely no air left so we had to leave the door of our room open in order to able to breathe in this tiny box. The adjacent rooms seemed to have a somewhat functioning air conditioning, which must’ve been broken too to the extent that the noise produced by the fans was so loud that it sounded like a broken washing machine or sleeping on a construction site. Doors were so thin that people coming and going in the hall was heard as if there was no door at all. In our hallway there were 6 (I guess at least double) rooms with in total only one shower and two toilets. When we told the staff at the reception about the broken air conditioning and the noise (which made it impossible to sleep without ear plugs) the only answer we got was „well I’m not a mechanic so I’m not gonna be able to fix it“, no apology or sign of pity. The price for this is absolutely uncalled for. We wouldn’t have paid half for his effrontery.

The location is perfect - it a quiet corner of the city center, 5 mins away from the busiest parts of the town. There is an option for online check-in and code-based access, so no hassle with the keys. The public areas and the room were clean.

No sound proofing, so you may hear the sounds from the common areas.

The bathroom was dirty. Random underwear was in the bathroom for two days. The bathroom could need a renovation. You could hear everyone on the floor because the walls were thin. The room is one of the smallest rooms I have ever seen, you can’t even open a bigger suitcase. The AC wasn’t properly working as well, the entrance was cooler than the room.

Pretty close to the city centre while being in a very quiet area. The communication was excellent (we accidentally locked ourselves out of the room and a staff member came to help us within 10-15 minutes). The shared bathroom and kitchen facilities were clean and every guest we met was quiet and respectful.

The room is super tiny, okay if you just need to crash the bed after a long day in the city. There's an AC in the corridor and a ventilation that's supposed to take the colder air to the rooms, however it wasn't very helpful and the room did get quite hot.

The location of the Cube was perfect. It was within walking distance of everything that we wanted to do in Ljubljana. The online check-in also meant we did not have to stress about making it on time which I enjoyed. Our room was clean.

I guess we knew what we were paying for however the facilities and room were extremely cramped. The kitchen was not useable if there were more than 2 people in there, the showers were tiny and the room is a struggle if you are traveling with more than a large backpack.

The facilities are clean and it was quiet. Check in was very easy and we were able to store our luggage.

The room is advertised to have air-conditioning however the room was boiling hot with 1 small fan. This made sleeping very uncomfortable in the hight of summer.

Very close to the river and downtown. Calm place. Good atmosphere. Close to a restaurants and bakery. Unique place.
