How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe host was really friendly. Whenever he saw us, he asked if everything was okay.

Verified reviewPoor value for money, meager breakfast that finally arrived at 8:45 (not so fresh white bread with jam, butter, and a few other things, one token per person for lukewarm coffee from a vending machine), only four bathrooms for both glamping and camping guests, and noise from a wedding party next door until late at night. A thousand apologies afterwards, problably same old story that had been dished up before. We paid 105 euros per night, which is really a lot in relation to what we got. Don't go there.

Verified reviewVery nice environment, quiet, in the forest.
The breakfast is very basic, nothing local compared to what we expected.

Verified reviewIf you want to wake up to birdsong with panoramic mountain views, and unwind under star-filled skies, Forest Edge is the perfect place.
Unfortunately, my glamping experience was completely ruined by a bedbug infestation. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway in nature turned into a nightmare—I woke up covered in bites and couldn’t sleep the rest of the trip. The staff didn’t handle the situation well and offered no real solution or compensation. Definitely not the kind of “close to nature” experience I was expecting.

Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay surrounded by fresh air and peace. The cozy wooden tents were warm and inviting, with a super comfortable bed - perfect for a night under the stars. In the evening, we lit a campfire, which made the experience even more magical. In the morning, we found a lovely breakfast basket waiting at our tent - such a unique and authentic touch! Everything was delicious - especially the ham and horseradish (yum!), and we were surprised and delighted to get beautifully dyed Easter eggs. Happy Easter indeed! 🐣 There was hot water available and everything you need for basic cooking. The bathroom and shower facilities were just a short walk away - clean and warm, which was a big plus. We didn’t get a chance to try the sauna this time, but it’s already on our list for the next visit! Highly recommend for nature lovers, peace seekers, and anyone looking for a unique and relaxing experience.

Verified reviewWe had an amazing time here! The location is fantastic, peaceful, surrounded by beautiful mountain views, and still close to everything you might need. The place is very clean, cozy, and comfortable, ideal both for solo travelers and couples. If you are looking for rest, nature, and silence – this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Verified reviewThe tents are very nice. You can stay as social or as alone as you like, the place has a great layout for that, like separation with plants and stuff. Private sun chairs, nice picnic and bbq areas. Toads stroll around at night, so cute! And the fireflies are just the cherry on top.
Internet connection is shaky, sadly not as advertised. Bathrooms don't smell the freshest they could. But hey, it's camping after all.

Verified reviewWe only spent two nights at this gorgeous glamping site, perfectly isolated from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage was fantastic – small and cozy with incredibly comfortable beds. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and the whole atmosphere was warm and incredibly relaxing. The owner was so attentive to our every need, and what can I say about the breakfast... it truly added an extra touch to the experience and filled our stomachs, preparing us perfectly for our walks in the beautiful surrounding nature! Highly recommended!

Verified reviewSlovenia is beautiful country and the people are very nice & friendly. We look forward to returning to Slovenia.... just not this property. We highly recommend traveling to Slovenia as the rest of our tour was wonderful and very memorable.
I booked two rooms and paid in full for this. The first was a standard double room, and the second was a triple room. I acknowledge that during the booking process I forgot to add my husband's name to the triple room so there was only four people on the booking instead of five. Nonetheless I had booked and paid for five people. When we checked in we noted that there were only bedding for four (4) people, when we contacted the manager and asked about the fifth bed all we got was the run-around about the booking including only four names. I tried to reason with him that we had booked and paid for five beds, where are our five beds? He wanted to charge us extra, but would not name a price (though he was phishing around), and did nothing to assist us. There was no language barriers as the manager's English was excellent, so he was just scamming us. It was an awful experience.

Verified reviewGreat place for everyone who enjoys comfort but still being close to nature! Good location for getting to the hiking places, great pizzeria nearby, hot water and clean showers, fully equipped kitchen and super friendly owner who brings breakfast himself every morning. He also let us stay one night longer than initially planned :)

Verified reviewBathrooms and toilets are cleaned every day. Location is really good; even by foot its doable to reach the location while it is still in a beautiful place and remote from the city. Taxi prices from Kamnik are around 8 euros (from Lidl Kamnik). Breakfast served by the glamping is good, and there is a coffeemachine where you can get more coffee for a good price. The sauna at the glamping is also very much recommended to fully relax.

Verified reviewAtmosphere and nature. WiFi. Cozy place. Clean.
Room was a little bit hot during the night (small windows didn't help). Breakfast announced at 8am, arrived at 9am. No big deal, but still waited for 1h.

Verified reviewNice location with not too many tents. Very clean bathrooms. Lovely breakfast. A well organized place.
Poor wi-fi (we needed it to plan our cycling route) and there is also no signal. Do not recommend for people who cannot sleep if it's noisy - unfortunately there is a wedding venue right next door and all Saturdays during the year are booked, so it can get quite loud in the late hours of the night.
