How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The Parking situation could be improved…The fact that upon check out I had to exit the garage, double park the car in the street, go all the way back out to the hotel reception to give back the parking key card was quite time consuming. It would be much better if there was a code system or a paper-style card to exit so that you can simply drive out and be on your way.
The location was fantastic, easy to get to by car then the rest of the stay was done on foot since the city is quite walkable. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good size. I also enjoyed the rooftop patio with great views.

Check in is on the top floor so it’s a bit inconvenient when you have a car as you need to find temporary parking on the street then go up and check in to get the parking pass before you park (I’m glad there were 2 of us so 1 person could stay with the car).
Easy to find and great location. Comfortable beds and rooms.

Extremely weird bathrooms. The bathrooms are inside the rooms, separated only by some semitransparent partitions. No privacy at all.
Nice room, excellent location, the main bus station was just a very short walk away.

De pillows were a bit less but that is really all.
Location was really good, 24/7 service available. Rooms were spacious, especially the bathroom, super big and amazing shower.

The shower and toilet are in the room, so you have very little intimacy even in couple. You can literally see the other person from outside the toilet as the door is only glass with some coverage on it, but not enough.
It is located in city center, 7 min walk to main square. It also has parking right next to hotel’s door. If you reserve the parking through hotel you will pay 22 euros per day. Parking possibility is really a plus. The room was clean. They also have a rooftop terrace with really nice view over the city.

The toilets were not cleaned properly when we checked in… We had to clean the toilet seat ourselves to remove the stains. I was not happy about it considering that we had to pay 18 euros extra fee for our dog. Totally understand the dog fee but in this case, I expect the room to be perfectly clean. We stayed before in this hotel and I have to say it was less nice this time -Parking situation: not sure if this comes from booking but be aware that the parking advertised has limited capacity. We discovered it on the day and had to pay 35 euros to park our car in the parking just next to the hotel
I will start with the positive things: -Excellent location, 10 min from the town so really convenient -Nice room with very nice shower, bed is comfortable -Friendly staff

Bathrooms and toilet are literally inside the room - just a screen between the two. And if the light is on in the shower or toilet then that screen is completely transparent! It is also a weird mix between hotel and backpackers hostel - which is fine. They are basically two sides of the same building and meet at the reception/ bar / breakfast area. That is absolutely not a problem but it does affect the breakfast offer and means breakfast feels quite basic.
Really well placed within easy walk to all the city attractions! Big rooms with lots of space. Helpful and very accommodating staff.

Breakfast was good but expensive.
Excellent location - less than five minute walk to train and coach stations. Ten minutes to old town. Informal approach - families and backpackers. Roof terrace. Felt comfortable and safe.

Rooms not cleaned well. Shower screen very obviously not wiped down. Things under beds. We had two rooms and was the case for both.
Staff wonderful. Great communal areas - reception was also a bar, snacks, soft drinks. Nice roof terrace. Great proximity to centre.
