How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Right in the heart of Ljubjana! 2 mins from the main squares, restaurants and attractions, and only 13 minutes from the bus station.

You could hear quite a lot of noise from the corridors. The shower was tiny and I had to hold the shower head in order to wash myself due to the placement of the shower head holder. I'm not sure if the air-con wasn't working properly as it was very hot in my room despite the air-conditioning being on.
Comfy bed, great location, easy check-in process and room was very clean. The hotel staff were friendly and someone was in reception at all times should there have been an issue. Great use of space as considering the size of the room, there was adequate storage, a desk, safe and plenty of towels.

However, the staircase leading to the room is very smelly and dirty, and the courtyard is also very dirty and full of cobwebs. I don't understand why there is a carpet in a staircase so that it can't be cleaned 🤔?It says on the hotel page has a parking lot, which is possible, but we kept getting the answer that it was full. So you have to park in a parking lot for 2.5 euros/h or on the side of the road between 7 am and 7 pm for 1.5 euros/h.
The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was fine. It is in the center which is very good for sightseeing.

No hair shampoo / conditioner. Pillows are large European with no standard option, a little high for me.
The location is fantastic being walking distance to the key areas but with the bonus of one street back for less noise and crowd. Breakfast is very good value and good choice. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

There was not a mini bar or small fridge in the room to keep drinks. However, people at reception were very kind and attentive, and offered to keep my drinks in a fridge they had there .

Didn't love the split level nature of the room but given Venice generally it was acceptable.
Good check in system, bed was comfy and bath was useful for washing bambinos

Basically the only thing that could be better is the clean instructions that the hotel is not providing parking, because I do remember I saw some lines that parking is possible. Closest parking is underground parking that might be extremely expensive, keep it in mind if u travel by car. Overall experience was great

The seethrough bathroom door was very inconvenient. Also having several lights on one switch was not practical (could not light up the closet by the door without lighting up above the bed).
The location was great. Also having AC in the room was nice. The room was basic, but clean. The curtains were well darkening.

The hotel decoration is perhaps a little outdated but that didn't detract from the stay.
Excellent location - really can't fault. It was in the middle of everything yet set back so it wasn't noisy. The room we had was a good size. The breakfast was ok - not amazing but definitely value for money. My wife is vegan so it was good they had alternative milk for her.

I had to park elsewhere on the 1st day and parking is little far away from the hotel

The location of this property is great. The staff is super nice, they let me store my luggage and use the bathroom to clean up when I arrived in Ljubljana early in the morning before the 2 PM check-in time. The room is small, clean and comfortable and they provide a great breakfast.
