How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A small unpleasant surprise was that we were given bed linen and had to make the beds ourselves.
Dijaški dom Bežigrad was a very pleasant surprise. The accommodation is simple, clean, and practical – exactly what we needed for a short stay in Ljubljana. The rooms are functional, the beds comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and communication went smoothly. The location is convenient, with good public transport connections to the city center and the option to park nearby. Breakfast was modest but tasty. Overall, a very good value for money. We would recommend it to anyone looking for affordable and clean accommodation with decent service.

A bit far from city center if you need to walk.
Simple and cheap. All you need (including the common kitchen) is provided.

You could hear everything from the other rooms and hallways
They were very friendly at reception. They gave me clear instructions about parking, and everything was great.

This property is for teenagers mostly. Not the best for families with kids. May be I chose a wrong choice for my needs. As family we can't attach the bed together, little old property.
For teenagers and singles, I think this property is excellent. Good food, good staff and perfect location.

google maps takes you to not correct entrance and there is no any marking on the door saying saying where to go. there should be .i called the place so someone tried to explain where to go

The small space between the bed and the floor is great for breaking your toe.

The only thing to mention is that it’s a bit far from the city centre, but you know that before booking, so it’s not really a downside. The main square is just a 20–30 minute walk away, and there’s also an efficient bus service that gets you to the city centre in a few minutes.
It has everything you need; it's clean and the rooms are a bit old but very well maintened. There is also a small kitchen on every floor. The location is quiet and the road outside isn't very noisy. Breakfast was included and it was quite good. The hostel is perfect for young people and solo travellers, but it’s also suitable for anyone. I'd definitely stay here again!

The hotel is a high-school student hostel, that in summeritme rents out the rooms to visitors. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is buffet in the common area with some outdoor seating possible. To get to the city center you need transportation: easiest thing is to drive to the Tivoli park (which is the lowest cost parking close to the city center) and walk from there.

A little bit far from the center, but buses are operated, so it is not big problem.
Good option how to stay for reasonable price in Ljubljana. If you count with staying in hostel, there is no problem at all. We had shower in the flat, so not sharing one. Breafast are ok, you can sit outside. There are machine for drinks/snacks.

No air conditioning and the beds were honestly uncomfortable and too short. At the price I expected a bit more.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. It was great to be able to do laundry at a reasonable cost.

There was no soap in the bathroom. Room doesn't come with any toiletries, hair dryer, etc.
Breakfast was included and the room was tidy. The staff were very kind and friendly.

It was quite a walk into the main part of town although there was a good bus service.
The room was basic but spotlessly clean and the staff were always very friendly. Breakfast was good and overall it offered very good value for money.
