Room was very comfortable, clean and modern. The bed and pillows were comfy which made for a good night's rest. The hotel staff were very friendly and even let us check in at 10am after our early morning flight which was super helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and filling. Location to both city centre and bus station was less than 10 minute walk which was convenient.

The WiFi in the room was terrible, long time to face such difficulties with WiFi in my travelling. Although we had booked through reception a taxi to drive us to the airport 3 hours earlier than our departure, the taxi arrived with 25’ delay and after two calls to the taxi company. This for sure frustrated us a lot.

Location is great, walking distance to the centre and sight seeings. Spacious and clean room for 3 persons, very good variety in the breakfast!!!

That we only stayed for a weekend - next time we are coming back for a longer stay

The staff were more than helpful, and our trip was a huge success thanks to their assistance and recommendations. Breakfast was a joy each day with even a small offering of truly local produce and the one evening we dined in at the Lobby Bar, we were pleasantly surprised by the large selection of local dishes to choose from. Our room was very clean and tidy, spacious for a couple on a weekend getaway and the hotel itself has an amazing location close to a lotnof restaurants and cafes and the main attractions of the city.

The restaurant is closed in the evening but you could get a snack from the outdoor bar.

Very high standard, immaculate. Great facilities in the rooms, coffee machine, kettle, robes etc. Double sink bathroom, fantastic breakfast, every food imaginable and good quality. Great location- a 10 minute walk to the centre. They helped with providing some adapters as we forgot ours! If you don’t have your room cleaned they offer you both a free glass of wine or beer on the terrace- a great incentive to maintain eco friendly services.

Huge breakfast but of low quality. The hot food was only lukewarm. Didn’t end up eating at an eight the fruit and cereals. Very busy hotel and breakfast was 90% for every morning.

There wasn’t anything we disliked about the hotel

The hotel was lovely and the room very comfortable. The food in the hotel is really good. We had a gorgeous breakfast each morning and delicious sandwiches in the relaxing rooftop garden for lunch on two days. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great for sightseeing in Ljubljana. We would highly recommend a stay at City Hotel

When checked out, I asked the front office how to walk back to the car park opposite the hotel. "Return as how you came out." was what I was told. But actually, I took the lift from the basement to the ground floor and there was access throughout the building. Then I tried to return to the car park, I can't find the way to enter the building since all doors were locked. Since I have a tight schedule that day, so I tried to walk the driveway like I was driving into the car park. But the ramp was slippery, so I felt and crashed on the ground very hard. My suggestion is, the hotel should arrange the normal access for guests going in the car park in elevator instead of waking through the driveway. If that is the only possible way, the staff should warn the guests to be careful. Hope no one would have my experience again. Thank you for your attention.

Some of the fruits at the breakfast table tasted unexpectedly bland.

Great location halfway from the Bus/Train stations to Old Town and the Castle. Comfortable rooms and overall quiet atmosphere. Friendly staff. Breakfast (with good selection of dishes) starting at 6:30 AM is unusual and highly welcome as it gives a bit more flexibility with the traveling schedule.

It was the best hotel we stayed in Slovenia! The room is huge, the bed is enormous and super comfy, as well as the pillows. The breakfast is great, the location in perfect, super near to the city center, with parking. They offer a lot of tips regarding tourism and restaurants, staff friendly. I wish I could have stayed more :)
