Amazing place to stay in... rest, recuperate... loads of places nearby to visit, view. excellent staff, very attentive, and a very good restaurant on the property (that also gets quite full, so do book a table!). the hot tub and pool were an added welcome to my family of 4.

Curtains don’t shut completely dark- so for people who are sensitive to light in the morning I would recommend eye covers

We spent two wonderful days at Chocolate Village. It's not a simple camping site: you spend the night in small architect-designed houses up in the trees. Breakfast is brought to your room in wooden boxes in the shape of a house, and the friendly lady at reception takes care of all your needs. You can even book a chocolate massage, which was really relaxing and completely new to me. There is a small wine cellar where you can organise wine tastings and next door you can have an excellent dinner in a cool designed restaurant. The pool is great for cooling off and fits in well with the rest of the resort. Recommendation!

We had a wonderful stay here. The cozy wooden cabins are surprisingly modern, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. The location is absolutely beautiful—right by a lake and surrounded by forest, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. There's even a small pool in the yard, which was a nice bonus. If you're looking for a nature-filled escape with great comfort, this is an excellent choice!

I would not say it's 'luxury' however, as they like to state, much more like unique, extraordinary, but not luxurious. Also, for me, the whole chocolate theme do not add to the experience - the fantastic location and houses are enough by themselves.

Fantastic experience right on the banks of the Drava. Ask for one of the first row houses for the view! This was a two nights work trip to Maribor, this accomodation added so much fun to this trip.

Nothing to fault, except some spots of dust (behind the tv and upstairs) and a bit of bird poop on the deck chairs.

Peaceful and relaxing with a restaurant and a bar nearby. Great breakfast (4 options, selectable one day in advance) delivered to your terrace (who knew I liked chocolate-infused cured meat). The pool is nice (unheated, but manageable on a sunny late-spring day) with a 40 meter stretch of perfectly cut lawn culminating with a fire pit (daily supply of wood and marshmallows near it). Separate Wellness area (80€\2h) is nice and comes prepared with tea, fruit, and chocolate 👌

The hot tub maxed out at 40, which in the outside temperatures during our stay made it feel like a warm tub. The interior of the cabins makes you forget that you are glamping, but the small hot water tanks bring you back to reality quickly. Would have appreciated any type of counter/shelf space in the bathroom.

A truly unique experience outside of Maribor. The cabins were ultra modern without a wasted inch of space in them. We tried the chocolate and the fit/protein breakfast options, both were very good and more food than we could eat. It was great to have the breakfast waiting on our porch every morning, as much as possible was in reusable containers, love that there was minimal plastic waste. We both opted for massages (oil not chocolate) that were surprisingly reasonably priced. The onsite restaurant was delicious, and despite being a BBQ/steakhouse had plenty of options for my vegetarian travel companion.

The shower water did not stay hot for more than 10 minutes.

The view of the property was very beautiful and peaceful. I love that the cabins had a lot of natural sunlight and private windows.

Trick with soap is fancy but is a bit unusable

Everything is great. from breakfast that you got from cute basket till private spa. houses are close one to eachother but you get all the privacy that you need. Staff is very very friendly. place is ideal for getaway

This is a great place to stay, with cabins scattered beside the river. You have to park about 50 metres from the cabins and the paths are gravel, so it is not easy to drag a suitcase to the property. We had a cabin with a bedroom upstairs in the loft, which made getting into and out of bed a bit of a challenge. The resort has a spa cabin, with a jacuzzi and sauna, which can be taken for two hour slots. There is a great restaurant on the premises called Jack&Joe, along with a very nice cafe. Breakfast is delivered to your room in a box, and is ample and hearty. We really enjoyed our stay at this resort, and hope to return some day.

Some of the chocolate options are quite gimmicky. The chocolate soap didn't work for us. The chocolate salami during breakfast didn't really taste good in our opinion.

Very nice view on the river. The breakfast was very nice, you also get the option to choose between 4 different types. The chocolate fondue is amazing

The on-site coffee shop doesnt open til 10am - not an issue for most people but when you have 2 little humans awake at 6am - it would be nice to get a coffee a little sooner *there is a coffee machine and pods provided in the cabin - im just being picky

We really enjoyed our stay at the village. Everything was perfect. The lodges are really nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The pool is a great addition as well.

It was very hot in the upper deck. There was a fan but it was still difficult to sleep up there with the heat.

Bit different to normal glamping. The children enjoyed the pool.

Their instagram promotes this spot as being ideal for couples, a romantic break etc - but there were lots of kids there running around the pool which wasn't very relaxing/ peaceful.

The glamping village was wonderful - the room was cute, the location beautiful and wow the spa with the sauna and hot tub was so lovely to spend time in.
