How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The price for the apartments it's not fair at all. You pay like a king and receive almost nothing back, room it's extremely tiny, towels it's also tiny and cheap ones. The restaurant don't understand a proper English so you may have small problems, but the food it's fine.

Non-Functional Air Conditioning: The air conditioning unit in our mobile home was not operational. Instead, we were provided with an ineffective "ice-based" cooling system, requiring us to fetch ice from the bar to fill it. As expected, this system, essentially a fan, failed to cool the unit, resulting in indoor temperatures exceeding 35°C during the day, making the stay unbearable. Refusal to Relocate: Despite informing the reception staff about the air conditioning issue, we were told we had to remain in the assigned mobile home, even though three other units were available. This lack of flexibility was disappointing and unacceptable. Unhygienic Conditions: The mobile home was not adequately cleaned. There was a persistent smell of wet dog throughout the unit, and the bathroom lacked basic amenities such as bath mats, compromising both comfort and hygiene. Structural and Privacy Issues: The mobile home was divided from a single unit into two, causing significant disturbances. When occupants in the neighboring section moved, the entire structure shook, disrupting our stay. Additionally, the mobile homes are placed too close together, offering no privacy. Unprofessional Staff: The reception staff were unfriendly and dismissive when we raised our concerns, insisting we had to accept the assigned unit without offering solutions or alternatives. These conditions significantly impacted the quality of our stay, and we are deeply disappointed by the lack of care and professionalism. We kindly request a formal apology and a refund or compensation for the substandard experience. Additionally, we urge you to address these issues to ensure future guests do not face similar problems.
Dear Ms. Martina With all due respect, we feel obliged to respond to your review, as it is the first rating of 1/10 we have received in over 30 years of welcoming guests. We are confident that your score and comments do not reflect the actual state of our accommodation. Unfortunately, anyone can post a review regardless of its accuracy, which can harm both the hosts and future guests who may be misled by such feedback. You stayed with us for only one night, while the average stay at our campsite is typically three nights or more. The main reason for your dissatisfaction was a malfunctioning air conditioner. The issue occurred on the day of your arrival, and we immediately contacted a technician. The problem was fixed in less than 24 hours. In the meantime, we provided a portable air conditioning unit, which, unfortunately, did not meet your expectations. You did not inform our staff that you were unhappy or wished to change accommodation, so we were unaware of your dissatisfaction. Occasionally, technical problems do happen—no device lasts forever—and in such cases, we rely on external technicians, whose availability is not always immediate. A little patience is sometimes required while things are being resolved. Aside from the air conditioning issue, the unit was in excellent condition. Your claim that it was unclean is not true, as I personally checked the accommodation before your arrival. A rating of 1/10 is deeply hurtful to the entire team, who work hard every day to clean, maintain, entertain, cook, serve, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We sincerely hope that in the future, everything goes smoothly during your travels and that you find accommodation more suited to your expectations. Verified reviewWell beachside location is excelent. It was fairly clean, bar/restaurant nearby has good food and reasonable prices. There is a lot of possible activities, some would need maintenance. Beachside has enough shade and swimming water is fairly clean.
Kitchenette is not as well stacked as advertised, cutting board for example has seen better days and no toaster. They wanted to charge us for a crib for a 2 year old despite it being advertised as free on booking app, it ended up being free in the end with a little pushback.

The restaurant is expensive, the plates are not local, the breakfast was very bad (very few options and okd food) all the activities have to paid for extra, there is no wifi, no signal at all at times. The beds are very small and uncomfortable, no entertainment for the kids is provided unless you pay extra.
