I fell ill during a stay in a different hotel in Ljubljana, that was so disgusting I had to move hotels - I moved to this hotel and they were amazing. Staff were super helpful, giving me early check in, late check out and let me take my breakfast to my room when I was late for breakfast. Phones didn't work but I was able to contact the front desk via WhatsApp and they replied instantly. Rooms were clean, spacious, comfy - just what you need when you are ill to get back to health! Great location too.

This whole hotel needs a major overhaul - it seems that there has been no money invested to renovate since 1980s. For the price, the hotel itself didn’t live up to its standard, while on services and amenities they did make up.

Excellent staff and everyone was very friendly and always greeting you. The location was excellent, and it was always 5-10 minutes to everything we wanted to walk to. Breakfast spread was great and tasty. Gym small but well equipped.

Spa facilities were very poor and difficult to access if this is of interest to guests - disappointing for a hotel of this caliber but may be part of the ongoing renovations?

Amazing location, Fabulous breakfast buffet, twin beds were larger than singles and very comfortable, spacious room and bathroom, really nice and helpful staff, convenient airport shuttle, good cafe on the ground floor with gorgeous cakes

There was nothing to dislike.

The hotel is in an amazing location right in the city and a great spot to start to explore the city by foot. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. A special highlight was the breakfast, which has a big selection and is very fresh. I definitely recommend this hotel!

we were in a room that has not undergone renovations and had paint peeling off the window, soggy carpet with constant water drips from the air conditioner and an unpleasant smell throughout our stay. The tiny shower room doors didn't close properly leading to a messy bathroom every time it was used.

Excellent breakfast with an extensive spread. The location was also central.

The noise from the construction site nearby and the smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom coming through the window. The AC unit is old and noisy.

Room was a bit small and parking (€30) was a bit expensive vs similar hotels.

Unfortunately there was a rattle in air con & it kept us awake half the night. Staff couldn’t really do anything because it was late. They were apologetic & gave a discount.

The reception area makes you feel you are waiting for room at Buckingham Palace. There are 6 personnel at the reception area and when two are on line and by any chance if you step forward without being called you get a ‘look’.

It has fab location at the heart of Ljubljana and it’s breakfast is second to none.

The parking is a bit more complicated due to Hotel being within the pedestrian only zone

So close to the historic old town centre. We as family of 4 with 2 Teenager girls had a corner room with enough space, a great night sleep and a great breakfast . Overall a perfect stay.

The most convenient about this hotel is premium location - in the very city center. The hotel is nice and has a history, but requires renovation. Very polite and helpful staff, good breakfast. Good hotel for a short stay!

I really don't have complaints

The breakfast was amazing and the location very central. They also borrow umbrellas or sell you if you want and that can be quite handy.
