Amazing breakfast and location

Room was very small and old equipment and I was like in basement

I fell ill during a stay in a different hotel in Ljubljana, that was so disgusting I had to move hotels - I moved to this hotel and they were amazing. Staff were super helpful, giving me early check in, late check out and let me take my breakfast to my room when I was late for breakfast. Phones didn't work but I was able to contact the front desk via WhatsApp and they replied instantly. Rooms were clean, spacious, comfy - just what you need when you are ill to get back to health! Great location too.

This was the worst room I've ever been to. I will never come back to this hotel. Cannot believe it is a 4 star hotel. The authorities should verify it. I felt so bed in this room. It is not even the hostel standard.

Excellent staff and everyone was very friendly and always greeting you. The location was excellent, and it was always 5-10 minutes to everything we wanted to walk to. Breakfast spread was great and tasty. Gym small but well equipped.

This whole hotel needs a major overhaul - it seems that there has been no money invested to renovate since 1980s. For the price, the hotel itself didn’t live up to its standard, while on services and amenities they did make up.

The rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable.

Amazing location, Fabulous breakfast buffet, twin beds were larger than singles and very comfortable, spacious room and bathroom, really nice and helpful staff, convenient airport shuttle, good cafe on the ground floor with gorgeous cakes

Spa facilities were very poor and difficult to access if this is of interest to guests - disappointing for a hotel of this caliber but may be part of the ongoing renovations?

The hotel is in an amazing location right in the city and a great spot to start to explore the city by foot. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. A special highlight was the breakfast, which has a big selection and is very fresh. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Stuffy at times

The location was great (very close to the river walk, only a few blocks) and the included breakfast was truly amazing. The valet service for our car parking also was very helpful and staff had our car waiting for pick-up at the designated time. Our 5th floor room (#538) had a nice view out the window of the castle.

The property is quite outdated in decor and is tired looking. The carpet looked worn and a bit dirty (?) and the room while clean (nice!) had signs of deferred maintenance like window trim with peeling paint.

Excellent breakfast with an extensive spread. The location was also central.

we were in a room that has not undergone renovations and had paint peeling off the window, soggy carpet with constant water drips from the air conditioner and an unpleasant smell throughout our stay. The tiny shower room doors didn't close properly leading to a messy bathroom every time it was used.

Not clean at all. Even stains on towels, bathroom doors, garbage from previous guests still in the bathroom. Very old. Strong smell in the room. Loud as in the centre.

Comfortable bed and excellent breakfast.

The noise from the construction site nearby and the smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom coming through the window. The AC unit is old and noisy.

We loved this hotel. Great size room, separate area with own bathroom for our teenager. Central location for the main town and attractions. Valet parking which worked great.
