How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewBeautiful interior in the room. Spacious and well equipped. Got complementary Potica which was really nice.
Unfortunately it wasn’t that sound proof. Could hear people walk, talk and even plates being cleaned or something.

Verified reviewPros: Very modern room and very clean. I can only say it was perfect from any point of view including the breakfast as well which was very good. The city center is also very close. I will definitely choose to stay again next time.
Cons: None, to be honest. It was a perfect.

Verified reviewWe really liked that it was just a 10–15 minute walk to the old town — super central and easy to get around. Parking is available too, but you need to book it in advance. They also provide shuttle service from their hotel to airport for 12€ per person
One thing to note is that the hotel only accepts cash, and the ATM by reception charges quite high fees. The soundproofing could also be improved, as we could hear a lot of noise both from inside and outside the building. Our room (216) was right next to the kitchen, so we were woken up very early in the morning when breakfast was being prepared. For light sleepers, this might be a challenge.

Verified reviewThe room was really nice inside and pretty clean
The reception was in the middle of the ground floor (instead of the entrance), therefore the rooms were all around the entering hallway and the reception. As a result, you could hear everything outside the room, meaning less privacy. The breakfast was quite sad, since the coffee machine wasn't working when we got there, some of the food was finished at 9.15 when we went to eat and the lady who was there was a bit rude . Also, 170 € (only in cash) for a room right next to the reception, with a view of the parking, is not what I call value for money.

Verified reviewNice hotel, rooms are spacious, modern and classy, perfect for 3 if traveling with a kid. Walking distance from the center. Parking available (with fees) which is convinient as it seems difficult to park in the center. The kind attention at our check out was a nice surprise...

Verified reviewIt Is very clean. And the international breakfast Is beach and complete. It Is close to the center and It Is silent. At the end of the stay we have received a Little present.
There isn't a lift. Many rooms are at the groundfloor, but if you stay at the First floor, there isn't a lift.

Verified reviewGood location , walking distance from the center. Spacious room and ok breakfast. Kind staff.
There was a strong moldy smell in the bathroom and also the drainage was smelly. The breakfast area also smelled strongly, perhaps a detergent that is used.

Verified reviewNice hosts at the reception and breakfast, comfortable, new, modern and clean rooms, central location walkable to city center. Goodbye gift was provided at the end of stay.
It can be paid only in cash, which is unusual for the hotel stay.

CASH ONLY!!! This was not indicated on Booking.com and luckily we had enough cash that we didn’t have to use their private ATM with outrageous fees!! Strangest hotel we’ve stayed in EVER!! Entrance is in a dark, grungy, grimy alley that leads to an even worse parking area for cars. The hotel entry is right next to a room and down a long, dark hallway. Very odd! No Elevator! The hallway to our room was like a strange maze, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Upon entering our room, it was floor to ceiling dark wood paneling with a dark wood floor. It felt really odd! There was a 2’ x 2’ wood paneled column in the middle of the room that you had to walk around to get to the refrigerator (which was on the floor) or the window (which looked out to an old, grungy building or to the dark wooden desk. It’s hard to adequately describe, but it was odd! The bathroom was the best part, as it was very modern, but again, it was off that they covered the walls from floor to ceiling and the floors in a dark gray tile that made it really dark. There was no toilet paper holder! There were no electric outlets next to the bed for CPAP machines or charging if iPhones, Apple Watches or iPads, but we found they had use an extension cord UNDER the bed for the bedside lights, so we used their extension cord. We would not stay here again, as it was just too strange to us, especially considering that there are two normal hotels just down the street.
