What can we say, we entered the hotel and the Manager Natasa welcomed us and shook our hand. Also the rest of the staff. We never saw this kind of high service in many of our travels. From the Check-In to the stay and breakfast it was everything on the highest Level. The pick up at the airport worked perfectly. (Thanks Natasa for the Taxi recommendation) The hotel is close by all attractions, you can easily walk up the castle from there or stroll through the beautiful city of Ljubjlana. The staff brought or bags in the hotelroom. The Room was amazing. It was big and modern and was quiet. The concept of this Hotel works a 100%. You can relax and enjoy yourself without any noises of TV. (There's only a radio in the room to relax with good music). The breakfast was extraordinary. A big applause to the lady and the staff that bakes and cooks freshly every morning. A big plus is that the Manager remembered our names everyday, which is not common due to many guests every year. We would come again and again to this Hotel because this is how you own a Hotel and give effort to mantain high professionality everyday.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the city, which made exploring Ljubljana so easy. The interior design is beautiful, with a lovely aesthetic that creates a very cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was truly exceptional: everything was fresh, local, and homemade, with no plastic packaging in sight. Each day offered something new and it was always absolutely delicious. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ljubljana – it exceeded all my expectations!

This hotel is outstanding - the rooms, internal space and courtyard garden are beautiful and stylishly designed, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The breakfast room is a lively place to start the day and the breakfast itself, wow! It’s one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel, including top 5* hotels. The location is perfect, the staff are delightful and so helpful. I will return for sure, and will recommend it to anyone visiting Ljubljana

Such an amaxing property, very stylish, excellent location and staff super helpful. Natasha helped with recommendations and bookings for dinner as well as bus times to the caves. Beds are incredibly comfortable and a lot of thought has gone into styling the property and its interiors. Breakfast is unbelievable with home cooked cakes, pastries and tarts.

Such a beautiful hotel! Immaculately clean, spacious, and airy rooms. You can tell someone with a keen eye for design has curated the space, it was so calming to be in. Breakfast was exceptional- all locally sourced and prepared to perfection, and a good range of tea, coffee and local wines on offer for later too! The staff are so lovely and friendly, with loads of great advice on the local area and genuine interest in your trip. We miss being there already! And will definitely be back :)

Everything!! Room was great size and comfortable beds. Wonderful little extras- bottles of water and fresh biscuits. For my young daughter, puzzles were provided and towels and slippers especially for her. The hotel is very peaceful and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to help. A wonderful breakfast is laid out each morning using locally sourced produce. We had a tour booked early one morning and so they packed us a delicious breakfast to take with us with a variety of things to eat. Hotel is in a great location to explore Ljubljana. Would highly recommend.

We were disappointed at have the (one) ground floor courtyard room, which meant that we had to have our curtains and door closed all the time, and particularly during breakfast time.

Natasha and her team were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Great central location in Ljubljana. Stylist and very comfortable boutique hotel. Lovely choice of local breakfast items.

The breakfasts were homemade with fresh local ingredients. Different every day and beautifully presented. The cook described each dish personally. The staff was exceedingly friendly. The location was perfect, in the medieval part of the city., close to everything but on a quiet street. I loved staying in a building from the year 1550. They did a supurb job of preserving the historical part but updating to make it comfortable, including air conditioning.

We loved everything about April 1550 Boutique Hotel. The decor was gorgeous and the room very comfortable. The little courtyard was a perfect place to spend downtime after our busy sightseeing days. The staff were exceptional - very welcoming and generous with their time. Breakfast was outstanding. They use locally sourced ingredients and explained all the food on offer, much of it freshly baked. We ate far too much! They were especially considerate of our food allergies, ensuring that nothing was going to cause an issue! They provided excellent restaurant recommendations. We only wish our stay had been longer. After 7 days of hut-to-hut hiking in the Julian Alps, I stayed at April1550 for two nights before flying home. The staff were so accommodating and offered cold water and tea to relax. I absolutely loved the decor and could tell that design was top-of-mind. My room was spacious. Breakfast was scrumptious. The location is in the Old Town, so it's very conveniently located to restaurants and shops. Thanks to Natasa and her team for a wonderful concept to tourists. I had a lovely stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Ljubljana.

Fantastic location just inside the pedestrianised centre of Ljubljana on a less busy side street. Beautifully renovated with care by the owner who was on site to offer support and give us tips. Most hospitable. Breakfast was delicious and made with flair - a good choice of elements from homemade traditional dishes to fresh fruit and yogurt and cereals and tasty bread and cheese. Pleasant courtyard. Room air-conditioned.

This is a really wonderful hotel, very well located in Ljubljana. The staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is particularly good, with freshly baked savoury and sweet options each morning and plenty of gluten free options.
