How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was provided each morning in a basket to the door. It was lovely to unwind each evening in the private hot tub which was set up by the hosts while we were out during the day.

Verified reviewThe location was excellent and so serene. A true paradise for unwinding and breathing fresh air. The breakfast was delicious and really shows the love and attention the owners put into it.
The bathroom was not in the room - it was private, as stated in the description but would have been great to know that beforehand as it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea to walk at night out of the cabin to use the bathroom, even worse if it’s raining.

Verified reviewThe facilities are amazing! The shower and toilet were together, but the owners made it so that everyone has their own toilet and shower using locks and keys, which is amazing! The kitchen als is very nice and of course the hot tub we used daily! Perfect for visiting Bled (15-30 min. Drive) or enjoying nature and silence! Also plenty of towels and a dressing gown for each were nice! Finally the breakfast is excellent and also for each day a little bit of variety in the breakfast! Thanks a lot to the owners for having us!
The beds were basic, which is to be expected of a glaming, for me a better pillow would give significantly better sleep

Verified reviewThis was an amazing stay in a beautiful secluded spot near Lake Bled. The breakfast was delicious and very large, and the hot tub was perfect after a long day of exploring. We had the best time here and the owners are friendly and welcoming. A real gem!

Verified reviewWe like the Private Pool. Thankfully it was always heated we arrived by the stuff. Thanks for having us! The view into the mountains was also very very nice. Also we could play mjnigolf for free, which was a lot of fun!
Unfortunately, the autobahn is very near the little town. So you always here the cars.. we would liked it more with no car sounds. But it was still amazing and we would recommend this place for everyone!

Verified reviewVery friendly and helpful owners, the kindest customer service ever. Place has only four cottages so is quiet and personal. Accomodation was clean and views are beautiful. Hot tub is warm every evening and it is very relaxing after a long day of walking in Bled. Has own toilet and shower and some basics in the kitchen. Breakfast basket is huge each morning with coffee, juice, fruit, pastries etc... You can also play minigolf free of charge!

Verified reviewWe stayed at the glamping for 4 nights in August and it was the highlight of our vacation. The cabin is perfectly curated, there is everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. There are only 4 cabins in total and they feel very private since you have your own deck, lounging chairs and hot tub surrounded by some fence but you still got the view on the Triglav. You have your personal bathroom and toilet just a few meters from the cabin, which is also super clean! And there is a shared kitchen fully equipped. The position is super strategic since you are very close to nature, famous sightseeing spots, restaurants, excursions. We had the best experience especially thanks to the very kind owners, they provided the fantastic breakfast basket every morning, prepared the fire for the hot tub so that you have it warm every day and gave us great recommendations! We totally connected with their way of envisioning the glamping private, quiet, perfectly curated and away from mass tourism. If you are planning to stay here make sure to book enough nights, we spent 4 but we could have stayed definitely longer, give yourself time to fully enjoy the atmosphere and sink in the quiet and the magic of the place. A real warm thank you to the owners 😊 I never write reviews but this place and the owners really deserve it.
