How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

the noise of construction next door, but the staff had informed me upfront. Believe next time whn i bisit again, there won’t be no more noise.
the location is superb, easy to get around to the most attractions. also the room space is perfect for solo traveler as me, not to even mention the bed is comfortable that made me have two good sleep nights. 😇

The only thing I could complain is an annoying noise of the bathroom sliding-door, every time by opening and closing. Besides that everything perfect!
Thanks Divina and Mae for the support during our stay, they were always very friendly and ready to respond our inquiries. Location is top, very close to different sightseeing and restaurants.

The property was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Lots of shopping and dining options nearby, and public transport was only a short walk away. We received a warm welcome and fantastic customer service from our hosts - particularly Stella who greeted us and offered her support, and our digital concierge Mae.

A bit small for a tall and big person

The only thing that was a little complicated was the check-in. The online key somehow didn't work with my smartphone, but the staff helped us and we were able to solve that problem.
The location of this hotel was perfect, there are many MRT-stations in that area like 5 minutes walking distance. The room was clean, quiet, had air-conditioning and a fridge. The staff (Mae, Stella & Divina) were always available and tried helping us with whatever we needed.

Perfect location for exploring the city. The loft setup was also unique and tastefully done. I’m particularly grateful to our hosts Belle, Divina and Stella for making our stay a very comfortable one.

Digital key didn't work when we first arrived but staff quickly sorted it out.
Great little hotel room, very close to shops and local sights. Divina, Joelle and Vannie did a great job keeping the place clean and assisting us.

The key was a bit tricky. I eventually thought I had it figured out but it didn't work in the stairwell All that being said the staff were very responsive to issues and very pleasant. Joelle rescued me from the stairwell and gave me a hard copy key. Divina was also helpful. The online staff were really quick to respond, Vannie i believe Everyone was very friendly.
Nice location, very clean room though a bit small.by NA standard but acceptable.

check-in time is 3pm and early check-in is systematically impossible. My communication experience of early check-in request in advance was frustrated.

You’ve got to do your homework before check-in to make sure you aren’t stranded. There really isn’t any space to build in flexibility at check-in.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the checkin process to gain your digital room/ building key is abit tedious, but worked fine and after the initial time spent doing it worked perfectly the whole trip.
The room had everything we needed whilst exploring Singapore for a few days. The added extras of laundry powder and toiletries were an added bonus. Communication with hosts was great and they were only ever a message away.
