How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewBeautifully done building. Quiet location but very close to the sentosa express. Even it’s on the island public transport is still accessible. The staff was super friendly and professional. Great breakfast and afternoon canapés. My wife even got some souvenirs from them.

Verified reviewBeautiful property, spacious with large pool. very clean and welcoming. It wasn’t too busy when we were there so that probably helped with our enjoyment. Great service from the team. The rooms were in keeping with the theme but we didn’t have any windows in our premier room. There’s a blurred screen within the balcony door. This was not a problem for us. There are other hotels/restaurants within the vicinity/next door and a 7-11 shop. A great breakfast was included but limited choices, and complimentary canapés with drinks each day which was a lovely touch. The cocktails were very tasty!
Meals are prepared offsite which was not a problem for us.

Verified reviewVery nice and cozy environment free that was peaceful, tranquil and quiet. Yet still having plenty of amenities nearby in terms of dining, convenience, and how connected it is to other places. The pool was nice and well connected, and the included breakfast and canapes were great. In terms of service, this hotel was by far one of the best. From long before my stay they reached out to me to confirm with me the details of my special request, and they were very accommodating and hospitable. Overall an amazing experience here.
The hotel is relatively small, so there aren't many facilities compared to what other typical 5 star hotels may offer. It is a non issue for me, as this hotel is mainly for the premium cozy tropical resort experience, which it nailed perfectly

Verified reviewThe location is convenient to go to the Palawan beach zone. It’s also easy to catch the train. There is a 7/11 next door. If you want to be in Central Singapore, it’s not the place.
The balcony are little hot to stay. A fan would be welcome. The variety of choice in the fridge could be better as well as some snacks.

Verified reviewLocation fantastic on Sentosa. The short walk from the room pool. The lounge offered complementary drinks (including fizzy drinks in mini bar) and snacks throughout the day and then free flowing beverages and canapés from 4-7. History of the hotel was fascinating along with the sensitive furnishings.
Dark rooms with no day light. Limited breakfast options (in variety and quantity) that needed to be ordered the day before. Service was lacklustre at breakfast including having to ask for cutlery and no one anticipated our needs, such as taking coffee cups away but not asking if we would like another one….. They didn’t provide turn down service each night so had to ask for more water and clean towels. The interconnected rooms were connected via a ‘private’ staircase that was outside. Not fully private as other guests could get to the stairs so kids had to be locked in overnight for safety and security. Hotel stored luggage after our check out but store is open to the elements so 2 of our bags got completely wet including the bag with our plane clothes in. Quite expensive Suite left me feeling underwhelmed by the service received along with the Value For Money and unlikely to stay again despite the location.

Do note that when booking through Booking.com for 2 adults and a 6 years old kid all three of you need to sleep on a single bed even though the number of persons was explicitly mentioned at the time of the booking. The staff was helpful and arranged a mattress on the floor which was not great, not still we did not have to sleep all together on a single bed.
