we had a premium family room in the separate building next to the main entrance. The kids beds were very big and can easily accommodate a teen. Plenty of space for suitcases also. The projection screen instead of a TV was a nice and we actually had a late family movie night. Luggage storage after checkout was no problem.

toilet did not flush properly, when mentioned to reception the first time they declogged it. We hoped that was the end of it. Unfortunately this happened every time, we were instructed to not use toilet paper by a disgruntled receptionist and to just throw it in the waste basket.... Imagine that with a family of 4....Disgusting. The projection screen was nice but fraying and mis formed so the image quality was so so. Our room was above a restaurant kitchen vent so the room smelt like (good) food all the time. Finally there was no shower curtain and the tiling in the bathroom was at an angle pointing towards the door so water ran all over the bathroom and partially into the room.

Room was a bit small.

The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately I did not get to enjoy the pool area due to time constraints, however, the top level had a nice view, seating area and the pool looked nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, my luggage was even carried to my room for me (I left it early with reception). The hotel has water dispensers (at reception and there was even one on level 2 near my room) for access to water any time! I wish more hotels had this! The area is fantastic as well, surrounded by delicious restaurants, of which I tried Symmetry (right across the road - delicious waffles) and the Dim Sum Place (2 minute walk). City Square Mall is a nearby shopping centre, 15-20 minute walk, which was filled with good shops and food spots and fantastic place to escape the heat and humidity. For the Changi airport, it is only a 15 minute taxi ride so it's very convenient hotel location prior to flights. I was also able to leave my luggage for the rest of the day with reception as my flight was later that evening, which was really appreciated.

I was waiting in the lobby until it was closer to check-in time since my room was not ready (I arrived in the morning) which is fine, until I asked an hour earlier and the room was already prepared prior to me asking. However, I was sitting in the lobby for hours, would have preferred to be notified as soon as it was ready, since I was exhausted from my 12 hour flight.

Proximity to Arab Street Rest Bugis Hotel is approximately a 15‑minute walk from the Arab Quarters, making it a convenient base for wandering around Arab Street, Haji Lane, and nearby cultural spots. Easy Access to Shopping & Transit The hotel puts you within walking distance of Sim Lim Square, Bugis Junction, and the Bugis MRT station—great for easy movement across the city.

The projector TV sound was very low and almost inaudible, which made it difficult to enjoy watching anything. A standard TV with proper audio would definitely improve the in-room experience.

Very central close to different spots around town, bus line and train line close by.

Able to hear the street noise at times but that is what you get when booking near a main road.

The team was exceptionally helpful in preparing the room for my girlfriend's birthday surprise. The room was excellently decorated and it totally made my surprise a success. The personal touch and assistance was going the extra mile.

The hot tub was little sticky when we wanted to use it but a quick rinse with warm water was a quick fix.

The ataff are nice, friendly and helpful. The room is small but clean. Close to halal restaurants. ❤️ Ok for 1-2 nights stay..
