Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaMore info on the amenities. Gym equipment should be checked. One wasn’t working for the whole duration of stay. Wish it was possible for staff to inform gets if they smell. Very off putting to smell at breakfast. Also put clear signage to tell people to wipe their sweat off of gym equipment after use. And bring their own headphones.
Excellent. Would have chosen a river view. Sounded like all rooms had a river view. Breakfast, staff, room, amenities were great. Location is good. A couple of minutes away on foot to great world.

CanadaAmazing location, just steps from the canal with plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops around the corner. The subway is only a few minutes away, which makes exploring the city super easy. The staff are so lovable and caring, really making you feel at home. The rooms are a good size with a small kitchenette and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfy, everything was very clean, and the pool was a great bonus. Breakfast was small but tasty, with enough variety to please everyone, and I loved the evening cocktails and snacks. Would definitely come back if I visit Singapore again!

United StatesThe only improvement I can think of is a leg machine or squat rack in the gym. River is a great place to run though
Excellent location. Right in Robertson Quay and easy walk to MRT. Cleanliness is top notch. Loved the simple morning buffet and evening happy hour. Modest gym, beautiful lap pool, complimentary bikes and scooters. Love what they have done with the buildings.

FranceThere was perhaps a little bit of a miscommunication regarding the pillow menu. I requested 2 pillows as I was staying with my husband. Housekeeping showed up with only one pillow, and when I requested the second, he grunted at me and disappeared. When I made the request again at reception, I was told that I could only request 1 pillow per room. This didn't make sense to me, so I pushed and was eventually provided 2 pillows. (We requested latex pillows which are firmer than the usual hotel pillow. We are used to using such pillows at home and they certainly made our sleep experience better.)
I had a very enjoyable stay. The room was small, but extremely clean and well-organised. The appliances provided were of good quality. The pool and gym were well-maintained. Breakfast was healthy and the spread was decent. I enjoyed the evening lounge very much, where snacks and drinks were provided for 2 hours every evening. All in all, I enjoyed my stay very much and I will likely continue to use Fraser Residence River Promenade for my future trips to Singapore.

SingaporeGood location, very new, close to the park and also near the MRT. The only thing is, before moving in I had mentioned that I preferred living on the 2nd or 3rd floor, but in the end they gave me the 4th floor and couldn’t adjust it. So I was a little disappointed with their efficiency. Other than that, everything is quite good.

United KingdomNothing! It was perfect for us
The location was great! We’d recommend booking restaurants near by if you are planning to stay. We found a nice Japanese restaurant and the food was great! The hotel was so comfortable and even had a washing machine and Dyson hairdryer. They served breakfast in the morning (not many options for vegans) and had a fridge cupboard. The staff were really friendly and place was clean. They served cocktails every day too (we just missed it - as we didn’t stay for long). The train station was also a short distance away.

AustraliaVery tiny room with open bathroom design. Breakfast was limited and food cold as well as the nibbles during happy hour, even though they were in a hot plate it wasn’t switched on. Pool was cold and only got the sun in the morning.
Excellent location close to bars, restaurants and only a short walk to the MRT and shopping mall . Free soft drinks all day and night and happy hour 5-7 with free alcoholic options. Dyson hairdryer was very nice. Large fridge in room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Free hire of scooters and bikes. Shopping bags available in reception to use. Friendly staff.

United KingdomCupboard space is quite limited in the rooms. Also felt the arrival could have been friendlier, as it was very much about paying for the room immediately. First impression was disappointing because of that, however the overall impression was very positive.
Excellent location, right next to the river and with easy access to shops, restaurants and the main attractions.

United KingdomNothing.
This is a modern and well located property. It’s just 5 minutes from the underground station Havelock, giving great access to Singapore. Behind the property you’re on the Quay with lots of bars and restaurants too. There are also free soft drinks available all day. Rooms are fitted out to high standard with everything you could need for a stay. We stayed Bed and Breakfast which was great value and in addition to this there were complimentary drinks “cocktails” each evening for two hours with snacks. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

United KingdomThe property is an open warehouse style - half dedicated to reception and lounge, the other half used as an events space. During our stay two large events were held. One essentially turned the venue into a loud nightclub atmosphere, with dance music playing and people shouting into microphones during breakfast and cocktail hour. This did ruin the relaxing atmosphere! Staff were apologetic and handled our complaints with grace and empathy. The majority of staff were lovely, but one went out of her way to make us feel unwelcome on our final day. We had a very late flight and, as others had done, asked to stay in the common areas until closer to our departure time. This particular staff member seemed to take issue with this and was quite rude, then acted a bit strangely by staring at us as we waited for our taxi at 5pm - presumably to ensure we didn’t have any evening cocktails, which we weren’t going to do!
Lots to like. Great location, very clean, nice views of the river and the family of otters! Evening drinks a lovely bonus. We’ve stayed there twice now, and although all the rooms are lovely, I’d definitely opt for a one bed if you can as the studios are a bit cramped and bathrooms offer little privacy.

AustraliaOne small note – the breakfast options were quite simple, but this was easily balanced by the fantastic location. With plenty of great restaurants and cafes just steps away along Robertson Quay, and even more options at Great World, we never felt short on choices.
Our stay at Fraser Residence River Promenade was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The rooms were spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and style. The staff and housekeepers went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable – always friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Their genuine care made us feel right at home. A special thank you for the lovely surprise waiting in our room — a complimentary bottle of wine and macaroons! We truly loved the gesture, and couldn’t believe they were from Australia – our home country! It made the experience feel even more personal and meaningful. We especially enjoyed the daily Happy Hour, which was the perfect way to return, relax, and take in the serene riverside setting. The pool and gym facilities were clean, peaceful, and never crowded – ideal for winding down or fitting in a quiet workout. Overall, Fraser Residence River Promenade delivered a peaceful, elegant, and welcoming stay in one of Singapore’s most charming neighbourhoods. We would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and standout service.

United KingdomThere was a niggle which didn't arise from malicious behaviour so I'm letting it go - I don't speak for all Londoners but would say a large number of us would not appreciate people keeping tabs on which room we stay in or when we're out of our rooms.
I have only stayed at Fraser's Orchard and this location but am already a convert and looking forward to my next stay. The central reservations team helped me to deal with a booking that I needed to move due to personal circumstances and I could not be more grateful. At reception staff are kind, gentle and genuine - which is def not what you can expect as default! Amenities and room are beautiful and in this location exactly the same as shown in photos. The property is only 5 mins away from GWC and shopping mall (google maps aren't accurate - there's a back entrance you can use to get out).

United KingdomWe loved everything about the Frazer Residence. The staff was wonderful, very pleasant, obliging and always available for advice and assistance. Thulasi and another female on Reception, went above and beyond our expectations, when we were faced with a problem, (of our own making). They were very caring, professional and extremely efficient in every aspect of their work. A big Thank You, to ALL the staff for making our stay so pleasant. So very sorry that I can’t remember all their names.
The Frazer Residence was absolutely lovely. A very pretty location on the beautiful winding river. Very chilled and close to lots of bars, restaurants. Loved the complimentary cocktails and tapas in the bar at 5pm. Such a very nice gesture for the residents. The staff made us all feel very welcome with their endless pleasantness. Particularly Thulasi. 🌸

AustraliaThe number of doors you had to Pull / Push to get to your room. It was like a test each time along with the key card, hand wave to unlock the door or just push / pull. The lighting in the room was not very good at all for applying make-up. Half the time, we didn't know how we looked before leaving the room! Didn't make sense that the hairdryer is left on the sink where there is no power point nearby.
