Distance to the city center.

A beautiful building in a quiet and green area, close to the station but a bit further away from the city's center. So I think the hostel prices were correct. Not everything is up to the latest standards but I did not see that as an important issue.

Key code entry with instructions only in Swedish. Room was very small ,& shared bathroom. Very few staying there...I had looked forward to chatting with other travellers.

Location was great being close to railway station & 1km from city centre.

The building was on the river in an isolated spot - I wouldn't want go walk there alone at night. It was quite institutionalised and notices about trashing rooms. Facilities were jaded and not very nice. My room had full size fridge freezer next to the bed - also something ws dripping from the ceiling onto the bed. Overall - if you can get a cheap price and want a hostel type experience - then not too bad.

The bed was comfortable and I had someone gret sleep.

For the entire floor, there was only 1 toilet, and 1 shower and toilet combo. I was lucky it wasn't too busy because otherwise there would have been such a large wait for the shower. The building was old, and things like the window sills really needed some maintainence. The room felt like a shoebox, literally just the bed and a desk with just enough space to open your suitcase before you reached the door

Great location not too far from the centre. The bathrooms were tidy. It's a charming but rather old building.

The reception is only through phone, they answer any minute I call but Little waste of time... the door are over heavy and very noisy.

Very kind staff, they were available at 2 am in the middle of the night, because I needed an information and they also let me stay after the hours of the checkout. Really recommend this apartment!

My room was advertised as a single bedroom, however when I got there it included three beds and one of them was prepped with linen just like mine which led me to wonder whether someone else would be sharing this room with me. It was late at night, no staff around, and the building though nice was large and eery.. so even though I'm comfortable sharing rooms when I intend to, this time I expected privacy and did end up having it, yet spent the entire time wondering if someone else might enter the room at any moment.

Only met one staff member, but she was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful as we navigated google translate together.

It was low season (end of August). No reception, self check-in and all by myself. I havent seen anyone. The ambiance was off but everything was clean. Make sure to get the wifi password before arriving there in case you need to contact the host and like me, you travel without any network to make phonecalls. They expect you to phone them upon arrival, but I travel without any network so it took 2 locals to help me phone the owner with the phone of someone local, and finally understand how to get in. There is also only one bathroom for the entire level, so I assume it must be busy during peak season.

The first night was OK but the second evening when we tried to sleep there was some water running in the pipes over the ceiling so loudly that we could not get asleep -- like a noisy waterfall or a running toilet water all the time and does not stop (I have a video with that sound). The positive point is that when I called the owners they gave us another room for that night, so thanks for this!

I love the location of the hostel being very close to the train station and a convenience store. My twin room was comfortable and quiet and the shared bathroom was adequate. The Hostel provides a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge and dining area. There is also a nice courtyard off the breakfast room. A buffet breakfast is provided at an extra price. I thought it was ok but a little expensive. I mostly provided my own breakfast, which suited my needs. Johanna is an excellent receptionist and is ably supported by Isabelle.

We arrived during Midsummer, so the staff wasn't really present even through the number that we received for questions. We had read that they had bikes to rent and requested them in advance, but it wasn't possible during Midsummer. So it was a bit far away from everything else in Halmstad, with bikes it would have been perfect.

It was cute, tidy and right next to the train station. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful.
