The room wasn't very clean and the cleaner was not happy when I asked her politely, after 5 days, to clean my room. I heard her say to the other cleaner with her, whilst I was still in the room, as he went to change the bed sheets, that it did not need to be done. I had however already removed them to make it easier for staff to clean, which he told her. The floors were not swept well. The worst thing was the lack of air con. It was unbearably hot in the room, and being right next to the Heden, it was too loud to have the windows open.

The breakfast was nice and the location is fantastic. It is super near the Heden bus station making it very easy to travel around the city. There were extra pillows which is always a bonus.

The curtains do not block completely the light from outside and acoustic isolation is poor.

Small hotel in Gothenburg. It was fine for overnight stay , location was good .. nice shopping, eating area not far away. Room was clean and breakfast was adequate .

The only thing I did not like was the room curtains. They were a little smaller than the windows since the nights are shorter. Sunlight came through the windows and I was up earlier than I wanted to.

The staff was nice and kind. The location was nice and close to bus stop. The room was tidy and big. Since I was only staying for a night only, I did not use wifi that much and just slept. The bed and pillows were also comfortable. The breakfast was so lavish and good. A lot of variety to boost your mood even if you don't want to get up and carry on with your day.

Even though the room was clean upon arrival, no one came to change the towels or bed linen during our four-day stay, and we didn’t receive any additional toilet paper or other supplies — which was disappointing. The bed had a visible tear, which I find unacceptable, and I’m including a photo. Also, although the room was booked for four people, it was really very small for that number.

The location is absolutely perfect - the hotel is right in the city center, so everything is just a short walk away. We really appreciated how clean the rooms were when we first arrived. Also, the breakfast was consistently fresh, warm, and very tasty. We had no complaints when it came to the food.

The property is located within a Walking distance to the city center. The bus station is near to the hotel. It is also near to the Heden footbal field incase you are going there for the football tournaments . Gothenburg is a place were they organise football tournament like golthia cup , future cup just to mention a few.

The staff was freandly and helpfull . Our room have an old bed with the chain matress. It was un comfortable to sleep in. Because it makes a curve and when you sit on it it is almost like sitting in the floor. We requested an extra matrass which the staff have provided but still could not help anything because the chain for the bed was loose. The staff was understanding and were willing to help but unfortunately they could not change our room because the hotel was full booked. I hope they can change that bed in the future because if one have a back pain then it is really bad. Imagine sleeping four night in the bed moving like a trampoline.

The elevator was a bit small and only went from the reception, not the entrance. There are around 10-20 steps from the entrance to the reception. Otherwise I didn't notice any other issues.

I arrived late in Göteborg and had a pleasant one night stay at Hotel Allén. After sleeping on an overnight train the night before, sleeping in a comfortable bed felt like heaven. Despite arriving late in the evening, I was greeted by a friendly and helpful employee in the reception. The room itself was simple yet comfortable and clean, which was exactly what I needed for the night. I especially liked how close the hotel was to the train station, it only took me around 15 min to walk there. Unfortunately I had to leave before the breakfast buffet opened, so I can't comment on whether it was good or not. You get your money's worth at this hotel, and I would consider staying here again if I come back to Göteberg in the future.

It is a cheap place to stay in a great location. The dining room was so filthy I actually considered going to buy cleaning supplies to scrub the sink, countertops and coffee machine myself. Walk in room was very damaged with exposed chunks of plaster.

Very small lift and stairs at the front. Not very suitable for wheelchair users as it's required help to get in to the lift and reception.
