It wasn't like that.

The accommodation was perfectly clean and homely, equipped with everything. The host Jude and his wife were very nice, they even gave us a plate of Creole food on the last night which was very delicious. Our favorite beach on Mahe is nearby Anse Royale. There are no big waves here and you can swim. If we return to the island we will definitely stay with them again.

We liked the way they kept and maintained their home.. Mr. Jude and his wife are great person very friendly and very helpful.. Mr Jude helped us in many ways like booking car for us, helped us to get a rental car.. Mrs Jude welcomed us to their amazing home with a great smile. The property have an amazing lawn, very well kept garden, a gazebo like sitting area, the rooms are well furnished with a modern taste, great ambiance lighting, well maintaned kitchen and accessories.the photos of the property does not justify its actual beauty.. Loved each moment of our stay there.

We loved the garden and the small terrace with the lovely cat. The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms are large and nice.

The apartment have all the facilities you need (kitchen appliances, fridge, AC in the bedroom, etc) and looks spotless. The garden is awesome, with a terrace where you can eat or enjoy a drink in the middle of tropical plants and trees. The hosts were very kind and helpful and gave us a lot of information about Seychelles. Also, there is a private parking in the yard. They accept both card or cash payment. Overall, I deffinetly recommend this place for a quiet and comfortable stay in Mahe.

This is the perfect place for us to stay in Seychelles. It was very quiet and peaceful with wonderful welcoming hosts and had everything we needed.

It is a little out of the way, so if you don’t have a rental car be prepared to walk a bit to the bus. The location does mean it is quiet though.

We stayed 3 nights and welcomed with a beautiful fruit plate. The apartment is very clean and super cozy with an amazing garden. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful family, their sweet boy showed us around in the garden. We would have stayed longer if it would be possible. Thank you for all :)

The hosts were very friendly and helpful.The room was beautiful and airy and the environment is full of Nature. They have rabbits, guinea pigs and hens .They gave us fruits ,juice, water bottle and milk when we arrived. The place is more beautiful than the photos. Wifi was great as I was working from home as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, would love to visit again.

Everything was made with a lot of attention to detail. They welcome me with a lot of fresh fruit and soft drinks and milk in the fridge. Super clean, comfortable and cute little appartment. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to prepare your own meal. Also the owner Jude is extremely attentive with his guests, he even helped me to order and pick up my pizza as I arrived very late and tired the day of my check in. He will do everything to make you feel comfortable. The place gets clean everyday and the locations is great. Very close to Victoria, Airport , Eden Island and Takamaka destilery. Will definetly come back to stay at rhe Reef Palm.

The owners are very kind and prepared for us a warm welcome with a fruit platter, drinks and an air-conditioned room. The kitchen was excellently equipped and the wifi was decent. It is very quiet at night and it was here that we had the best sleep among all acommodations in Seychelles. They also offered us to use a washing machine. We enjoyed having our meals at the terrace. They keep a guest book since 2013 and it is full of positive reviews written by their guests. It was such a nice gesture that the owner treated us for dinner on our last day there. Many thanks indeed. As for the location, there are frequent buses to Victoria just by the main road, maybe 10 to 15 min walk from the property. The Takamaka distillery and the crafts village can be reached on foot (30-40 min) or by bus very easily.
