How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewLa Nautique was the most beautiful hotel of our entire Seychelles trip – even compared to some 5-star resorts we stayed in. This charming, small hotel offers truly personal and heartfelt service that is simply on another level. The food is outstanding, and the staff is incredibly friendly – especially the waiters and waitress, who made us feel genuinely welcome. The personal touch and warm hospitality really made a difference. Highly recommended!

Verified reviewThe location is amazing, the restaurant is one of the best on La Digue, and the staff are wonderful human beings who are happy to show up to their jobs everyday. I'm honestly so impressed with the level of care and attention to detail, this is a boutique property and you can feel how happy and well-treated everyone is, and that reflects in the great service. Melissa is the most gracious and thoughtful person, and I wish I could shout out all of the names, but from housekeeping to the bar to the restaurant and beyond, everyone is just really nice here. The property is quite charming and especially shines at night time where the infinity pool and water splashing against the deck, and the warm social atmosphere around the small bar is really one of the best places to spend an evening in La Digue.
I don't have major feedback because the experience was very good. Just know that this is more of boutique hot spot at the heart of La Digue rather than a high-end luxury hotel.

We got a room on the second floor, the terrace is on the first floor, which is very inconvenient. And that terrace is on the street side, only 2 meters from the main street, absolutely no privacy.

Right from the pickup at the ferry to the warm welcome for our honeymoon, we absolutely loved the hospitality here. The breakfast had a wonderful spread and eating right by the water was a wonderful experience. Could do with a few more vegetarian options though.
The food at the restaurant is quite pricey for the quantity it offers. It could also do with more vegetarian options.

The on-site restaurant is exceptional, serving incredibly delicious dishes that will delight any foodie. The attentive and friendly personnel go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. One of the highlights of staying here is the convenience of having bicycles available, making it easy to explore the island at your own pace. It’s a perfect mix of comfort, style, and island charm!
The property is relatively small, so if you prefer expansive grounds, keep that in mind. Also, the beach in front of the hotel isn’t ideal for swimming, so it’s best to explore other nearby beaches for a true swimming experience.
