Room accessories, guesture, all baby essential things. I was amazed to see these guys maintained the apartment very nicely. They take care of all things may be 1 family can require. Host is awesome. And mainly view from balcony is out of the world. Full view of ocean.

Although the sea views are gorgeous, if you walk to the nearest beach, you wouldn't like it because it is right on the road and cars are passing by. The beach practically disappears when there is tide, so to go to a really nice beach, you have to drive a little. It's not a problem if you have a car, but it's something that you have to keep in mind. You are not right on the beach and the 10 minute walk to the beach does not take you to a beach where you want to spend time. The other thing is just something that occurred to us. We rented the property for three nights, but our flight was delayed and we were rerouted, so we arrived one full day later and lost one day. However, we were charged for the whole three nights. You could say that us arriving late wasn't the host's fault, which is very true. But considering that we were not there, did not use the electricity, did not use water and did not require any attention during one third of what we paid for, it would be a nice gesture to at least get some discount for that one day. I personally would certainly do it, if I were the host. I raised this with booking, com later having thought about it a little, but the host ignored the message that booking sent to them and that left me with an aftertaste. Of course people rent out places because they want the money, but there should also be a little more understanding that it's not all about the money. And again, I am not saying do not charge for the missed night. I am saying, at least a small discount for what we didn't use would be a nice gesture especially since the payment has to be maid in cash, which is an inconvenience nowadays.

The property is perched on a hill and has wonderful views from all the rooms. Bathrooms are modern and the showers are very nice. The kitchen is well equipped. On arrival we were met by the hosts who explained all we needed to know about the island and showed us everything on a map. And there was a welcome drink.

Highly recommend La Vida as a great place to stay to explore the south of the island. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. Many people had mentioned the hill but even the kids said it was an easy walk from the beach or from Greenhouse restaurant which we really enjoyed. Great beaches are just a short drive away but we didn't mind the beach at the bottom of the hill... it had a great local vibe on the weekend and was perfect if you didn't want to drive after a few sundowners.

Very good apartment, very cosy and good location, near the beaches, takamaka and good restaurants. We enjoyed a lot. Owners are very helpful and attentive. Ideal for couple or family. Highly Recommended.

Kind and attentive Alfred and his caring wife will meet you at La Vida. Very stylish and modern accessories. You will be captivated by the bright tropical spirit mixed with the aromas of India. Convenient location within walking distance from the ocean with a comfortable sandy beach and a wide calm lagoon. Our family really liked it there. If there were any questions, Alfred promptly solved them. The rest turned into a delightful pastime.

I cannot find enough words to thank Alfred and Marthe for the hospitality! Thank you for being attentive to all requests, guidance, and excellent recommendations!! I highly recommend their guest apartment. The apartment is well-equipped, with 2 large bedrooms, and the balcony has a mesmerizing view of the sea! If you're considering being in the southeast of Mahe you won't find a better apartment than this!!

The apartment is beautiful and spacious, the view from of the balcony is stunning. There is AC (and fans) in every bedroom, large well-equipped kitchen, a free laundry room, and a good WiFi. Everything was clean and very convenient! The host was very helpful. He met us on arrival, gave a tour of the property, kept our luggage for several hours after check-out, and ordered us a taxi. It was a great experience! Keep in mind that the property is somewhat uphill, so be prepared to climb up for a few minutes.

Only Awareness for family’s with young kids the way to the appartment is a steep walk of 5+ minutes so it is not super convenient walking wise but if you anyway have a car to travel not a problem at all

We were absolutely reeling comfortably. It was a very nice hospitality. We felt very comfortable with the family. We were warmly welcomed and introduced to the place; the view was really cool. Very unique decorated and cozy rustikal atmosphere.

The pictures reflect the reality. The guest house is newly built and the interior is quite new as well. Great value for money! We had planned most of our activities in advance, but the charming hosts helped us with the transfer from the airport upon arrival. Marte and Alfred can give good tips and offer a solution to most of the challenges one might have during their stay. The people of that wonderful country are very friendly and relaxed, but if there is an obstacle you should consider calling a friend for solving the issue. Renting a car is probably the most reasonable choice. We choose to hire the same driver that took us from the airport for that purpose. The nice and clean car, combined with the careful driving made our trips a real joy.

Just know that it's better to be with the car. The water is close on foot, but for swimming it is better to use a car.

Our stay at LaVida selfcatering apartments felt like home, away from home!. Alfred and his lovely wife have created a little paradise and they have paid attention to every single detail an apartment should be equipped with. Upon checking in, they welcomed us and made sure nothing was missing during our stay. Always with a smile and always polite and discreet. The apartment was super clean, perfect wifi, stylish decoration, fully equipped kitchen, and the view was breathtaking! Not to forget there is an option for breakfast and we were glad we chose it.The breakfast was superb. We really enjoyed our stay. We booked the apartment with sea view. That was excellent accommodation with a great ocean view. During the trip we stayed in five different apartments and villas. These apartments are the most clean, new and well equipped, there is a kitchen with everything you need, a washing machine and a dishwasher, a capsule coffee machine. The hosts are very welcoming, willingly told about all the interesting places, food places, and also gave contact to a person with whom we then went on an unforgettable ocean fishing trip. The children were delighted with Alexa (the music station) and the garden around the house with fruit trees. Upon request, the owner was ready to help with the grill, but we did not use it. We paid for breakfast separately and it was always big and different. I highly recommend it for your holiday! Thank you

Very nice apartment with beautiful view from the terrace and very kind hosts as well. House is not at the beach, but this is obvious from the map. Btw, the beach is close with some restaurants and take aways. We got lots of useful informations on arrival which helped us make great time on Mahe. They also arranged car rental on short notice for reasonable price. Whenever we needed something, they were there for us. I can only recommend.

Cant criticize anything at all about the property of the lovely hosts, but guests should note that payment is in cash and a car is strongly recommended given the local supermarket is currently not operational.

Home away from home, with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. gorgeous views with beautiful sunrises over Turtle Bay (Au Cap). 2 double bedrooms, both en-suite, with aircon and wifi, and secure parking. But the highlight was the hosts, Alfred and Marthe were so very kind and considerate, and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable - they organized a hire car to be delivered to the property for a reasonable Eur50 per day, and when we said we wanted to bbq that night, set up the outside area for us including fresh coconuts! They even kindly provided us with beers, bread etc when we arrived late the first night not realizing there was no supermarket in walkable distance!
