An absolutely wonderful stay here at La Desirade. The apartment was modern and stunning - directly on the beach, with beautiful views and a lovely terrace to sit on. This one really has the wow effect. Such a warm welcome from the lovely staff. We were thrilled with our room with a beautiful sea view. Excellent room with a great deal of care taken over presentation. Very clean - everything spotless and cleaned daily. A truly first rate experience. Thank you so much!

Nothing it was perfect!

Dan was a great host and gave us plenty of helpful tips for exploring the island. His apartments are clean, modern, and cozy. We especially loved the combination of contemporary design with wooden elements! It was by far the most beautiful accommodation we had during our stay in the Seychelles. The balcony offers the opportunity for watching a sunrise. We felt completely at ease and slept very well in the large bed (which, unfortunately, also meant we missed every sunrise 😉).

The view was amazing. We had our breakfast on the terrace looking at the ocean. Dann was very friendly and accommodating. He made the room ready early on the day we arrived and even cleaned the dishes we left one day. There's a kayak available for free but we did not try it .

The highlight is the view and the outside area You are basically on the ocean and there is a spacious deck to enjoy the morning sun The place is also very quiet despite the road at the back of the property , is located in a gated area so you only have the host or facility manager (Freddy, very polite and friendly) and 3 other rooms ( if occupied ) There are few restaurants 5 min drive and the must-visit takamake distillery 10 min away with rum testing and amazing sandwiches

The A/C unit it too small for the room size , it struggle to cool the whole area. Looking at the specs, the current unit should be a 9000 btu, but for the room size a 12000 is recommended There is a ceiling fan by the sleeping area but when is hot you wake up sweating Also for self-catering studio a washingmachine would be great , it is a huge pity and disappointment there wasnt one.

The stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful! Spacious, modern and perfectly furnished - we immediately felt at home. One of the biggest advantages was the amazing view of the ocean, which we could admire straight from the bedroom - opening our eyes in the morning, we saw coconut palms swaying in the wind and the endless blue. The bathroom was modern, clean and very aesthetic - everything at the highest level. The service also deserves great praise - polite, discreet, and at the same time very helpful and always ready to support. Convenient parking on the property. This place definitely met all our expectations. We definitely recommend it!

—Incredibly beautiful ocean, which could be so different depending on the tide/low tide/weather and time of day. — An ideal location to explore the south of Mahe. As we later realized, our favorite beaches Takamaka and Anse Soleil were in the south. Also Takamaka Rum Factory is a 2-minute drive away. The most delicious cocktails on Mahe are right there🤌🏼 — A beautiful, always empty beach, where various birds flew in. 30 minutes after checking in, my husband and daughter discovered a 1.5 meter stingray right off the shore! It was indescribable. — The apartment is very comfortable. The combination of air conditioning and fan prevents you from catching a cold, but helps you cool down. — Administrator Dan is very caring and attentive. Having learned that our daughter loves to drink coconut water, he cut and brought them to us several times. The perfect cleaning every morning is also his merit. His attention to detail, advice and help are invaluable. We were sad to change the location. — There are 2 wonderful cats living on the territory. We fed them tuna and put water. They are very affectionate and playful. — You can take SUPs and a kayak for free. But SUPs in such a changeable sea are not the best idea in my opinion. My daughter and I were covered by a wave, cut ourselves on the rocks and swam back in the rain.

Nothing, everything was perfect

It was a very beautifull clean and modern appartement with everything you need. The area to sit outside is excellent and the view is incredible. There is also a small almost private beach that is excellent to get a quick refreshing swim and you can even use a kayak for free.

There are some restaurants and take-outs close by but walking on the street especially when it is dark it is not very safe. But if you have a car it is really the most relaxing beautiful place you can stay.

Everything! View was amazing! Beautiful sunrise everyday ! The unit is new and feels like home!

More shower gel & shampoo please. The tiny bottles were not enough.

This was a wonderful accommodation. We loved staying here. The bungalow was so nice, modern and clean, there was a lot of space with a large patio where we had dinners and where we enjoyed watching the sunrise and listening to the sound of the waves. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay in Mahe.

The location is not the best. The beach in front is not best for swimming. If staying here renting a car is highly recommended. We didn’t have so we took the bus and taxis to go around. The bus option was not so convenient because of the waiting time ( around half an hour to wait for the bus and also walking to the bus station (or anywhere around the property) did not feel safe. There is no sidewalk, just narrow streets with cars from both directions.

The bedding is exceptionnal and the view is worth the trip. Freddie and Dan are the best!

The Beach was basically private 😍 the apartment was beautiful

The location was not the best regarding swimming. It was rather like a lagoon that a sea except when the high tide came. In the area there are not many places to go.

The room was spacious, clean, comfy. The view from the room was spectacular, especially at low tides. Loved the little beach nearby and a close proximity to Anse Royal.
