An exceptionally tranquil setting, breathtaking views, wonderful hosts, and a delightful experience. We cherished every moment of our stay here and are eagerly anticipating our return for future visits. Strongly recommended. Note that if you plan to rent a car, sufficient driving experience is necessary as the villa is situated atop a steep hill.

Lovely apartment with a great view to the Anse Royale bay/beach below. It was helpful to have a private car parking area for our hire car. It was a 2-3 min drive to a nice spot on the Anse Royale beach.

Maybe the room walls could do with a freshening up with a bit of paint, but I'm just being picky. This place is very nice.

Fantastic place in Anse Royal. Situated in a small town but they have all the essential shops and few nice restaurants nearby, there is a hospital and police station there too. Honestly probably the best town to stay on Mahe island as its close to the best beaches and nice restaurants. The beach is just down the hill, albeit it is a steep hill but if you have a car it's no issue at all. The apartment is equipped very well and has air con in the bedroom. The host is nice and welcoming, place gets cleaned properly every second day including fresh towels and bed sheets, what more can you want, the sea view is amazing. I would go for the deluxe apartment next time as its on the second/top floor and a bit more private and the view is better, but they are all the same in terms of equipment etc. Great place and I would stay here again, unbelievable value for money.

Poor communication with the host before and after the check-in. .

Amazing view from the terrace. 5 minutes walk to the gorgeous beach. Many shops and takeaways are nearby. Possibility of leaving the luggage and have shower after the check out. The cleaning lady is lovely.

Not a negative but you need a car to get there. Steep hill drive so you must be careful. Air conditioning was a bit weak for the entire house. It was hot so we asked for a fan when sitting in the living area. The bedroom was cool enough with time. -A suggestion would be to have a knife sharpener in the kitchen for those who like to cut up meat and veg.

Perfect getaway with gorgeous sea view. Has everything one may need to prepare meals.. Has a washer too. Hot water and wifi was not a problem

The location high above Anse Royale leads to a steep climb if you do not have a car but this is good for fitness and nothing that the location can do about. Just be prepared for the uphill move

Beautiful aparment with a sunrise view, walking distance to a few beaches (you have to be ready to walk down and up the hill though). Owned by locals! Washing machine was a big bonus.

Nothing. I liked everything

Large, luminous and perfectly clean and well-equipped apartment. The views of the bay are stunning. Very warm reception, everything works well and it is a very comfortable place to stay. If you do not have a car, as me, prepare to walk up a steep, but short, street from the beach. It takes 5 minutes do walk down and a bit more up :) Supermarkets are at a 10 minute walk, as well take away places.

Very steep road up to apartment so you need to be a confident driver or fit! Although not a negative comment on the apartment, having your own transport to explore the surrounding area would be beneficial.

View was fantastic. Having a washing machine to rinse out towels and swimwear was really useful. Being close to Anse Royale beach is ideal.

Some basic things were missing in the kitchen (salt, a proper sized cooking pot/pan) and communication via Booking.com wasn't always the easiest but apart from that, everything was fine.

Nice apartment with a superb view over the bay of Anse Royale. The steep road is easily done by foot from the main road and takes about 4mins up and 3mins down by fit walkers. The apartment was clean, very spacious and well furnished with high quality interior. The surroundings are quiet, nice and green. Bus stop, supermarkets and beach are all within a 5-10min walk.

The steep slope leading to the place is tiring and treacherous. It's not good for a walk to the beach. The only alternative is to rent a car as the public transport isn't always enough considering the weather and the steep climb.

The host was warm and very helpful. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The place had all the amenities required for cooking and also had laundry facilities. The location is close to the beach and supermarket, bank and restaurants close to the downtown.

The only thing that bothered us were ants and we really had to watch out that we didn't leave a single crumb in the kitchen. 

The apartment was spacious and with a beautiful sea view. Location is great to move around the island. The bed was comfortable, but there’s only AC in the bedroom. There’s also a washing machine for doing laundry, which was very welcoming.

apartments with great views. kitchen, cooking utensils, everything you need is there. tv with small colic channels. comfortable bed. everything is super! but wifi didn't work well. walk to the sea for 5-7 minutes. back harder, steep hill) but not a problem. Lots of shops and takeaways nearby. ans royale beach is the best for me on the whole island. There are 4 parking spaces on site. cleaning was every 2 days.
