Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandIt’s small island and the first impression is that you spend time out of the people. It’s not true, there is plenty of tours coming to the island every single day. It’s not a problem but it’s not a place you can feel like the edge of the world.
Service on the highest level, cuisine, staff.

United Arab EmiratesAccess to some of the neighboring islands requires pre-planning; that's not the hotels fault, but just something to keep in mind. I don't have much negative to say though. The gym is a bit too basic, could be better equipped, and a few more wellness activities / offerings might be nice considering the island is well situated and a peaceful place for things like yoga and meditation.
Great breakfast (probably the best we've had in the Seychelles) and restaurant, helpful staff and organized systems, high-end, boutique, quiet luxury. This is a rare and special resort and we really enjoyed our stay here. I think they undersell the location and the beach that's in and adjacent to the hotel... the sand bar that's visible during low tide lets you walk across to another island, which is a bucket list experience with beautiful clear water and pristine sand. This is a quiet, private resort, don't expect nightlife or loud energy, it's for connecting with your guests and nature, in rustic yet high-end luxury. The boat service makes commuting back and forth to Mahe quite easy. Bhuwan was extremely accommodating and supportive, and their Whatsapp-based comms and room service system lets you get anything you need with just a message. Imagine being in a remote island in a marine national park but also just 10 mins away from the main island of the Seychelles... kind of an island experience they've created here.

AustriaNothing really, as we liked everything about the resort. Smaller technical issues were fixed, so everything was good. The breakfast menu could be a little bit bigger but on the other hand everything was made fresh, so no complains here. If there is one thing I could think of to improve, is to clean the beaches every morning, but I understand this would require additional personnel resources. One important note to potential visitors: please note that ALL beaches on the Seychelles are open to the public. There is no such thing as a "private" beach. Hence it can happen that especially on public holidays and on weekends local Seychellois and tourists come by boat and visit the beaches, where they have lunch and listen to music. We knew this beforehand, so where not affected. If you happen to be on JEIR on a "special" day I would recommend going on a tour in the afternoon to another island so you can avoid the peak time. It is my understanding that JA are doing their best to keep the visits by boat civil and are working closely with the local authorities. And no worries, other people cannot and are not allowed to enter the JA premises.
We had a wonderful stay at the JA Enchanted Island Resort. This little island is truly unique and offers great privacy and a very athmospheric setting. It is settled in the middle of the Saint-Anne Marine National Park with beautiful sea and nature. Some highlights: - staff & service: very polite and helpful, special thanks to Ahmed and David - we enjoyed some great conversations. We could feel that the people working at this resort are happy with what they do. - Private pool villa: outstanding set-up of the villa, embedded in the middle of greenery and on a small hill, overlooking the ocean. Superb pool with great views and water quality. Big terrasse to enjoy oneself. Showers, toilette and bath tub outside on the upper terrasse- an amazing experience! We have been to quite a few destinations, but this villa was definately something different and we liked it a lot! One could easily stay the whole day there and have a great time. - Beach: the beautiful sandbank when the tide is low is just an eye-catcher, post-card worthy! Two island that can be visited easily (Moyenne and Long, either by kajak/swimmung/foot). Pristine sea colors and little hidden beaches around the island worth exploring. - Spa: we loved the spa treatment, it really helped us to relax. The set up was great as well. - Sundowner bar: very cool spot where you can enjoy yourself with a cool cocktail and watch the sunset. Also the romantic heart is located there. - Food: all in all the food was very good, and the local cuisine was tasty. - "Floating Breakfast": have a breakfast basket floating in the pool was a cool experience, definately recommend it. - Romantic dinner: this one was really special and the menu as well as service was pretty nice. I wished we could stay longer so we decided that we definately need to come back. I can recommend JEIR to anyone who wants to have a special vacation on the Seychelles! This resort has that unique factor that so many are missing.

TurkeyThe hotel has only one restaurant with limited food options; there were too many middle-eastern/indian food options, whereas the menu could be richer in terms of seafood selections in a place like the Seychelles. Quality of the food was fine, although not exceptional.
Amazing views, and since this is an island resort off the coast of the main island in Seychelles, the sea is better here. Also, the beach experience is very pleasant with alternative beaches to enjoy, walking on the sandbank during low tide, taking a 10-minute kayak ride to Moyenne island, which is just across the hotel and is home to Aldabra turtles, the cozy and romantic atmosphere of the hotel, great sunset views from their sundowners bar where you can also chill under the shade of the trees, everything was very good. Finally, hotel GM Mr. Burak Aydin was very welcoming and interested throughout our stay along with the whole hotel staff, which made our stay even more pleasant.

As vegetarians we found a lot on the menu that we could eat. Though pls add more indian vegetarian in the bfast, if feasible. The Public pool is beautiful but we thought it could be away from the restaurant side...... All in all it was a beautiful experience. we recommend all to visit.

South AfricaNot really a criticism, but the resort is starting to show some signs of aging - for example, some of the balustrades are rusting. It will need a spruce up in the not-too-distant future.
The resort is situated on its own private island. A spectacular location. The staff are very attentive and the food is wonderful, particularly the breakfasts. We had a villa with a private secluded pool, which was great. The outdoor bath and shower were also special.

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing, this was a dream vacation
My wife and I rented the private pool villa for 5 nights with direct beach access. The location on Round Island, part of the marine park, was stunning: the views, the turquoise waters, the tranquillity. It is probably the most serene place I have ever visited. The villa was fantastic, blending into nature and large windows in the bedroom to enjoy the views. The indoor/outdoor bathroom was another unique feature which I personally really liked but might not be everyone's cup of tea. The staff was incredibly attentive, helpful and sweet, massages given by Eli were exceptional and the food menu even though a little limited was excellent. Seak kayaks and snorkelling were available to explore the local sea life which is plentiful.

Saudi ArabiaI stayed here for honeymoon. This is an awesome resort with stunning beach and extremely polite and helpful staff including property manager. I stayed across 3 islands in 3 countries and I can say this was the most memorable hotel we been too. Although I paid extra money for some extras that I did not expect (transfer from airport to hotel, which should be included at such price point), I can sat it's still worth it.

United Arab Emirates-check in , we arrived at 4:15 p.m and even though we were welcomed with welcome drink, we were left waiting on the terrace of the restaurant for nearly an hour which caused us distress as we have travelled long and were in desperate need of a shower and refreshment. Upon questioning why it took so long, I realized the only one staff was handling all the check ins, and somehow were the last ones. I suggest having more staff available for check ins so guests don’t end up waiting in the heat for an hour. - at breakfast and dinner the vegetarian options were very limited and at breakfast there was absolutely no plant based milk available for the coffee. -WiFi kept disconnecting and the last day stopped working
-location: secluded, limited people, Moyenne island natural park just in front -transfer to and from hotel was very smooth -the fact you can get kayak and snorkeling gear for free -everything on island is walking distance - I had eye irritation and they arranged some drops for me from the pharmacy which was an amazing touch, helped us not needing to go to Mahe for drops only
