We booked ocean view but got a mountain view room. After we reclaimed, we got compensation, which was arranged well. Currently, renovation is ongoing, which might result in some light inconvenience. Although the breakfast buffet is superb, the dining buffet is not too special.

Location directly at the beach is perfect. The breakfast buffet is the best we had since a long time. The renovated rooms are nice with a lot of light. The beds are comfortable. Personnel is really trying to give you a good time.

Was currently under construction took away some beauty of the place. Noise during the day took away some of the quieting relaxing we were looking for.

What a wonderful staff. We arrived on my friends birthday. They came and sang happy bday at dinner with a cake and candles. They set us up with a beach breakfast on our last day. Lunch and drinks by the beach were delicious. They gave us an upgraded view upon check in as well. Sanjay

The negative part was the fact that the hotel renovates their other wing and were a lot of sounds but staff kept apologizing for this and never worked during the active hours. I would kindly recommend to provide sleepers in the rooms

The property is located directly on the beach and close to the restaurants and stores. When they seen we are a couple and coming from booking.com they even organize breakfast by the beach for us with red table cloth, flower and brought all the dishes for us … was wow Breakfast offers huge variety of sweets, juices fruits and combines creole,Asian and wester cuisine

There were only 7 umbrellas for a large number of guests. There were plenty of sun beds on the beach and in the hotel grounds but no additional umbrellas for shade that they could give us. However we found ways around it.

We loved the position, right on the beautiful Beau Vallon beach. All of the staff from housekeeping to reception to security to restaurant were friendly and very helpful. . The rooms were well appointed. We discovered that the refurbishment of our room had been completed 2 weeks before we arrived Another wing is currently under refurbishment but you don't notice too much.

The biggest downside was definitely the mattress — honestly the worst I have ever slept on anywhere in the world, even compared to cheap hostels. The air conditioning was also too noisy and dripping water. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the great beach, location, and wonderful staff.

The location is perfect, right on a beautiful beach, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, prices are reasonable, and the construction didn’t bother us at all. Rooms are small but clean.

We went in mid-June, we read recent reviews that mentioned construction work going on which worried us before going. When we arrived we found that the construction work is barely noticeable. The beach location is really nice with a beautiful sunset view, the breakfast is excellent and the food in general was really good. Room service was always good, the whole staff was excellent, pleasant and always willing to help. Overall a great experience, highly recommended.

We as a family were absolutely pleased with our stay in this hotel. We arrived early and the hotel not only made every effort to provide us an early check in but also offered us complementary breakfast on our arrival, which was extremely nice of them and made us very happy after a long journey. You must close hotel if you make noisy and annoying construction work there. Not keeping accepting guests and make their stay uncomfortable!

That they are under construction so the stairs were not working and only one elevator, so sometimes we had to wait for a while to go up/down (with stroller).

Some of the facilities are a little aging but I understand that they are being renovated so it should be up to par with the rest of the hotel.

The room has been recently renovated and it was pristine. The access to the beach directly from the hotel is such an amazing feature and the beach itself is beautiful. The personnel was absolutely adorable and catered to all my needs. They are friendly and ever available, true stars !
