Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

QatarRestaurant reservations were quite competitive—we could only secure spots in 2 out of the 5 restaurants. It would be great if the hotel could reserve some tables specifically for new arrivals to ensure everyone gets a chance to enjoy the à la carte options. While the buffet was available, it didn’t quite match the quality of the restaurant dining experience.
The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were warmly welcomed with early check-in and a generous late check-out, despite the hotel operating at 80% occupancy. A special thank you to Clara for her exceptional support and hospitality. The breakfast was a highlight—diverse and delicious, catering to a wide range of international cuisines. I also appreciated the thoughtful setup in the restaurants, offering separate menus for lunch and dinner. Just a heads-up: reservations can get busy, so plan ahead! The hotel features two beaches—North and South. The North beach was livelier, perfect for those who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, while the South offered a more relaxed vibe. Overall, an amazing experience that exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!

RussiaThere are 2 things which should be highlighted: 1. There are 2 beaches. However, you can swim only on the Northern one. The Southern is not adapted for swimming by definition (rapid currents and deep waters), even though the hotel advertises it as "we have 2 beaches for you!". Once you arrive they will give you a reason why this beach is temporary (!) unavailable. This time there was jelly-fish. It does not affect your staying, really. Just funny how they use it as a selling point while it is not really one. The Northern beach is awesome :) 2. Staff has island vibes which means that they are not in hurry or really care to do smth from the first try. It is not a problem but sometimes it takes multiple reminders to have smth done.
Everything's awesome. Really nothing to complain about.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is stunning — we especially loved being in the North Beach area, which we’d definitely suggest for anyone visiting in early July. It was noticeably less windy compared to other parts of the resort, making it perfect for relaxing by the beach. The hotel itself is huge and beautifully designed. We really liked our room — it was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. One of the standout touches was the complimentary water bottles , which were replenished every evening during the turndown service or whenever we called. A small detail, but it made a big difference! The cleaning service was exceptional, and the staff throughout the hotel were just amazing — so friendly, professional, and helpful, without exception. The fitness centre was well-equipped with modern, good-quality equipment. It wasn’t huge, but it was more than enough and never too busy when we went. The spa was also a lovely bonus — relaxing and free to use until late afternoon, which we really appreciated. We ate at several of the restaurants on-site and enjoyed them all, but our favourite was definitely Adam and Eve. We'd recommend booking restaurants in advance before your stay, as some do get fully booked and we were glad we planned ahead. If you're considering your meal options, go for the half board — it’s worth it and definitely saves money in the long run. One practical tip: getting to the city can be expensive without a car. We found the local bus to be a great alternative — it only cost 10 SCR per person each way. Despite what some reviews say, we used it several times and found it to be reliable (maybe 10 minutes off schedule at most). The bus stop is just outside the North Beach gate on the left, and there’s also a small local shop on the right as you exit that same gate — great for snacks or essentials. Overall, we had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay

FranceWe spent 4 unforgettable days at Constance Ephelia for our honeymoon and it truly felt like paradise. Everything was perfect — the nature, the comfort, the serenity. But what made our stay absolutely exceptional was the warmth and kindness of the staff. A very special thank you to Tembey: we have never received such a heartfelt welcome anywhere in the world. You made us feel at home from the very first moment. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special — we will never forget it.

TurkeyThere was no availability most of the night at a la carte restaurants.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would like to especially thank Anthony and Prabu from the pool area, Nanto from the buffet section, and the lady responsible for the wine at the Adam & Eve restaurant (I’m very sorry I can’t remember her name). They truly made us feel at home.

PolandThe Junior Suite was a bit dated. The furniture was old and somewhat worn, and there were no sockets by the bed. Housekeeping wasn't very thorough either. The atmosphere at dinner was not befitting a five-star hotel. Children ran between tables and the dress code was not observed. There was no (or not properly marked) adults-only area where one could enjoy dinner in peace. Considering the price-to-quality ratio, the Constance Ephelia is not a five-star hotel. The service is what really sets this hotel apart, so we'd happily give it 4.5 stars overall. Finally, we enjoyed our stay, but we're not sure we'd return. Maybe next time we'll check out the Constance Lemuria on Praslin Island.
Constance Ephelia is situated on a large property. The proximity of restaurants, bars, and two beaches can be an advantage for some, and a disadvantage for others. For us, it was an advantage. A club car was always available. The two beaches were very nice, especially the northern one, where swimming was possible even when it was windy elsewhere. The Junior Suite was spacious enough, with a nice balcony. The service (ordering extra water and coffee) was impeccable, as was the overall hotel customer service. Communication via WhatsApp was very convenient. We also received complimentary sparkling wine on arrival and for our anniversary, which was a nice touch. We also had a free extension to our room due to a late flight. The hotel also had a doctor available at no extra charge. The food at the hotel was good and varied enough. The table service at the Corossol restaurant was excellent. Special thanks to our waiter Reagan, and the excellent sommelier Anitah.

BelgiumWe just returned from a truly unforgettable honeymoon – it was even more magical than we could have ever imagined. This resort exceeded all our expectations and made our trip absolutely perfect from the very beginning. We were welcomed with incredible warmth and generosity, and we’d like to thank everyone who helped make our stay so special. In particular, we want to give a heartfelt shout-out to: Alessandra, Amel, Regina, Kosta, Shiva (?), Ashish, Frank, Stephanie, Leander... and also the lovely girl from Kabana, whose name unfortunately escapes us. We’d also like to thank the staff at the Seselwa, Cyann, and Kabana restaurants – they took excellent care of us, even if we unfortunately can’t recall all their names. In short: a dream location, outstanding service, and memories we’ll cherish forever.

United KingdomAd hoc meals and drinks are expensive. Room cleaning lacks consistency.
Location. Has two beaches so if one is not suitable for swimming the other probably will be. Only issue is they are quite far apart. Good variety of food options. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Saudi ArabiaThey didn’t accept the other currency except the ceyshals rubea to bay at the property. I faced a very hard chechk out to bay, so maybe better to bring a local currency to the bay for restaurants and activities. And it would be better if you finalize your bill the night before you leave
Every thing, the location, the beaches, the activities, the room, the staff, the lovely smily security man who was at the gate when we arrived and when we left , I liked how the resort is huge and very quiet and calm. and they care about every thing like they arrange mini buffet for the pepole who they have early flight before the breakfast time.

United KingdomNot much not to like. The only comment i would like to make is that riding bicycle in the dark is not ideal. The stretch between the spa going to the north side is unlit which makes it unsafe, difficult to see pedestrians and carts that travel with no lights
Lovely staff. Polite, friendly and professional. Beautiful resort with great facilities and well maintained. I would like to pay a particular mention of Amos who cleaned our villa daily during our stay and to Abigail (on the crepe stand during breakfast, Seselwa). They provided an exceptional service with a lovely smile on their face. They are a real credit to Constance Ephelia.

IndiaWe booked only Bed and Breakfast ( with no choice of any other option) and unfortunately hotel staff was not able to switch it for FB or Half Board which was annoying. Well they could, however, it would be more expensive to switch the meal plan at the arrival in the hotel. It is really worth to choice FB if you are planning to spend all your time inside hotel.

United Arab EmiratesNot good for people who like more boutique or intimate properties; know that this is a fully equipped resort at a larger scale.
A large resort with its own 90+ minute hiking trail, two major beaches and a few more hidden ones, and an extensive array of pools, spa experiences, sports activities and restaurants. This is a full-fledged resort, not a hotel. Christine was an incredible host and helped us make the most of our short stay, and the staff overall are very welcoming.
