As an active tourist, I would have liked the property to have kayaks or stand up paddle boards available for guests to use. Having said that, we found plenty of companies willing to rent these items, but it did mean having to leave the property and drive to alternative locations. In addition, I was able to swim every day in the ocean, but I would have liked the property to have had a freshwater pool.

We liked the self-contained chalet set-up, which allowed us complete flexibility regarding when and what we ate, and provided us with ample space to socialise as a family and a chance for each of us to find a quiet place to relax. The proximity to the beachfront and the absence of other properties nearby meant that it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The secure, off-street parking was a great plus. The friendliness, local knowledge and professionalism of the staff was a major highlight of our stay.

Everything was great. Perhaps an additional light sheet because the air conditioning can get cold but the fan alone is not sufficient. Also the recliners would not recline fully they were stuck.

Location was wonderful away from the city and beside the ocean. Very intimate and private chalets. daily cleaning and towel change was very welcome. Supermarkets close by for any grocery and restaurants and take aways nearby. Tons of friendly birds so we woke up to birdsong .

It would be great to have a microwave available, as well as outdoor taps near the bungalow to rinse off sandy feet. Still, I highly recommend this place!

A very intimate and peaceful place — quiet, private, and with very few people around, which makes it perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. The beach is beautiful, and the snorkeling experience with the fish was even better than expected. I highly recommend this place!

The location and grounds are great for us. We like quiet and nature. It's right on the beach in beautiful gardens with good snorkeling right there and fruit bats in the air. Short walk to shop and great little cafe with lovely cheap food. Secure car parking. We're already planning a return visit.

I loved the Chalets so much. It is truly paradise, right on the beach in a beautiful garden of palm trees. The location is quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. You can hear the waves at night and birds singing in the morning. The chalets are big, clean, the beds are very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had a great time. Definitely recommend.

The hosts, Daphne, Brigitte, Lisa and Jean-Pierre, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The chalet was nice with everything you need for your stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The beach is delightful. The sea is great for swimming and snorkelling. If you start snorkelling from near the 'Giant Rock' you can drift down with the current (not too strong) back towards the chalets. Make sure when swimming that you have beach shoes as there are sea urchins in the water. We were also lucky enough to see a baby turtle make its way to the sea. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

This is heaven on earth, peacefull quiet place, amazingly friendly, the welcome by the host was outstanding, huts have everything we needed, they are basic, but spotlessly clean, the stay comes with lots of add-ons such as caring host, smiles from the gardeners, who take care of the lovely tropical garden, the fruit bats flying above and even nesting turtles. Lovely beach, some snorkeling too. I will dream about this place.

If you are going to cook something at the chalet, it’s perfect to have some kinda of “starter package” - salt, pepper and oil

It was perfect for first place at Mahe Island 😀 That’s a totally deserved all the rewards and reviews here. The chalet is fully equipped with everything for living as it shows at the site, creol style and the main benefit is to have a terrace with the ocean wind . There is so great filling that at the moment only you and the ocean means (thats worth everything) and nobody nearby. Ocean is located within the two steps and direct way to the beach with full privacy. Location is perfect, supermarkets is 5-10 minutes by car, a lot of small market nearby. And it was great to have a delivery from Perry Grill restaurant suggested by the host, it war very tasty ! The owner’s family is totally hospitable, Brigitte is very kind and helpful with everything around. Definitely come back next time 👌🏻

Unfortunately it was windy and rainy and the corrente were a bit strong this swimming was ok only but this was not the property’s fault! Maybe having access to drinking water and a ‘larger’ kitchen startup ( mire coffee and tea salt sugar bit of oil etc) similarly to what we had elsewhere, wound have been great. We didn’t cook much -we only had breakfast- thus for us it was great but maybe the kitchen is not very well equipped if you plan to do more cooking. Definitely need a car for easy access to other beaches and shops.

Location! secluded, semidetached pretty and cozy cottage, private enough as other cottages are far enough - and nobody was staying in our building- it’s by the beach, yet, close to town, shops and few restaurants. Went swimming every morning! Amazing! We’ll organise space, large bathroom and bedroom, large and very comfortable bed! The hosts. Thanks for looking after us! Easy and prompt communication.

Our stay at the Chalets s’Anse Forbans was truly delightful. The Chalet was lovely, clean, and cozy, providing a perfect retreat. Bridgit was incredibly warm and welcoming, offering us excellent tips for exploring the island. Mangala was also wonderful and reliable; despite our inconvenient arrival and departure times, he was always there with a big smile, ready to assist. The beach at the Chalet, with its untouched natural beauty, remained one of our favorite spots in Seychelles even after exploring other beaches. The combination of the charming accommodations, the helpful and friendly staff, and the stunning beachfront made our stay unforgettable.

The beach is not like in the pictures - it has lots of seaweed, also some rocks at the bottom, under the water. Not so nice to swim in. There should be some pedastrian roads to the houses, but there is only grass - which is nice for walking, but not for dragging 23 kg suitcase...

Beautiful place, nice garden, very peaceful and quiet. Beach towels are a nice touch. Convenient bedroom - there is an air conditioner and also a fan, huge bed. Safe and spacious parking.

First of all, I must start with Brigitte. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering invaluable recommendations and insights into the area that significantly enhanced our stay. Her kindness and willingness to accommodate our needs, including extending our stay, were truly remarkable. We couldn't have asked for a better host. The staff is exceptional as well. Then, the accommodation itself is charming. In a perfect location, you are just a few meters away from a beautiful beach. Additionally, you are a 10-15 minute drive from astonishing beaches on the west of the island. If you are seeking a peaceful place with essentially your own 'private' beach, you are in the right place. We can't wait to come back again.
