From the moment we arrived late ish we we greeted with nothing but kindness and helpfulness. Nothing was too much trouble from Matthew welcoming and settling us in to Raj’s delicious breakfasts to Ramesh always being around to help us in after a day on the beach or just offering a friendly helping hand with pretty much anything and all this overseen by the watchful eye of Eileen, owner and grand dame. Comfortable spacious accommodation typical of what would be expected from a 4 star establishment, great locally sourced food, magnificent position with spectacular views, beautiful pool. Peaceful quiet and restful atmosphere combined with good service and great food and efficient and friendly staff, made it a very pleasant snd stress free stay. Highly recommended.

I wouldn’t recommend to write WhatsApp messages to the guests before they arrive at the location. Maybe is not that bad for others but I prefer, that the communication is only via Booking App.

You really feel like home there. Aileen was Most charmant Lady and Raj was always helping in every situation. The chicken Curry was delicious. Car rental was easy managed by the hotel too and they have a shutter service to take you and pick you up from the main road.

You need a car for sure. Because this place is very high on the hill. And this hotel was good, but we stayed another place too on this time and that had more things in it and it was cheaper.

This hotel is a little far from the city that why very calm and quiet. The staffs were so kind and taked care of us. And the manager also told us many good sightseeing places. They clean well and it was fun to play in the pool even night time. Thank you!

I booked a room with double bed but the bed was actually 2 single beds together which it turn to be a uncomfortable

We really enjoyed staying at Carana Hilltop Villa😍 bedroom was clean and spacious. Staff is excellent always ready to help u and to give you advices of what to do day by day. They helped us to rent a car and the boat trip as well Breakfast is simple but nice and it makes u full Overall a great experience

We asked for a double bed, but were given a room with twin beds pushed together.

We loved the peaceful location of the property (but it was just as well that we had a hire car). The staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was very good. Great views from the breakfast terrace. Our flight away from Seychelles was late at night, and we were kindly given use of a room to shower and change that evening.

Unfortunately the pool could not be used sue to cleaning or renovation. We actually booked the accomodation because of the pool, but then we were not able to use it.

Mattew is very kind, he arrenged the car rent. The villa is about 10' walk from bus stop (hill). If you need a drive to the market or bus stop there is a shuttle. The breakfast is ok (fruits, eggs, tea, coffee)

I immediately felt on vacation. The accommodation is cosy, the staff very friendly and supportive. I was travelling on my own and without a car and received help to go grocery shopping and in finding my way around by bus. Even when I got lost once, help was only a phone call away. Thank you for enabling a great vacation and time out!

Just watch out for the camber of the drive when leaving the main coastal road - slower is definitely better making the transition!! The bathroom was compact - it would have been nice to have had a bath although we recognise that these may well have been provided in a number of the larger suites.

Fantastic facilities in a suprisingly secluded location on the North of Mahe, close to the popular area of Beau Vallon. Matthew the owner was attentive, (though very busy!) and we really appreciated the efforts he and his staff extended to make our stay so enjoyable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in this area of Mahe without hesitation. During our stay the villa was very quiet which suited us well - it would be nice to return and experience the villa atmosphere when fully occupied too.

The location is ideal for Beau Vallon beach, and exploring other areas of the island ! Matthew is very friendly and is always on hand to provide useful advice. This hotel is perfect if you want to cook for yourself and enjoy true island life, and sunset on the terrace is lovely! It is a very steep drive up to the hotel (not for the faint of heart) but don’t let that put you off !

I liked the scenery and the location of the villa. The stuff, especially Mathew, was helpful and nice showing me around and made the stay very enjoyable recommending fun things to do. All the other stuff working there were also friendly and helpful, making it an amazing stay.

The property is located next to some of the most prettiest beaches of the island. The views are amazing and the pool is a perfect way to cool off on a hot day. The friendly staff took such a great care of me and helped with any issues/concerns I had. Will be back.

Room is a bit worn down but serves its purpose well

The bed was a little hard for me but the bath was nice but no plug . That would've helped my back but I do suffer with it so that's not down to the hotel .

It was a lovely stay the staff were great and the additional transport being a Sunday was a bonus . We went to solely relax and that's what we got .

Wish WiFi would have been faster, but can't hope it to be much, since the Internet on the island is not that good overall. warm water died one time late night.

The furniture and the beds are really old and very hard. Felt like sleeping on marble. The price of the food. I have never seen such expensive country for such tasteless kitchen than Seychelles. The hotel food is rather standard than averagely low standard for Seychelles

The polite Staff, very helpful and super kind. I would like to thank Raj and Matthew to all their efforts. They made my stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The location as the name mentions is on a hill going down very easy going up will make you get stronger legs. The Food was okay. The pizza was definitely not italian like not even some close to the taste of a pizza. I think the dough is what makes it taste like something I don't know. I can't even describe. The staff deserve 10 stars. But for the comfort 5 so in total 6. Raj the man for everything has prepared anytime we wanted and what we wanted to have for breakfast and for dinner. The chicken was tasty and the portion was huge.
