Great villa and fantastic hosts in Judith and Richard. We had a private pool, private villa and had a blast. We did not have a car during our short stay but Judith offered to drive us around for a small fee, very pleasant. Nice location to visit the nearby beaches, the takamaka rum distillery and just enjoy the vibes at the natural granite pool in the jungle.

It lays on a hill, so just be prepared to not be able to walk to the beach without a little hike. Not really a bad thing but something to be aware of.

Having a few days at Bois Joli in the middle of our vacation was exactly what we needed. Being surrounded by nature and having total privacy was just amazing. The pool is gorgeous, built on the natural granite, making it fit in perfectly with the surroundings. The villa is very comfortable and luxurious, and cools well thanks to the airconditioning, making sleeping no problem. We loved that there was nice warm lighting for the evenings inside. We had no car, but the lovely hosts offered to drive us for groceries if needed. We also walked down the hill twice for groceries. Its a steep climb in some bits and takes about 15mins, but we were very ok with that! Judith and Richard are very sweet and made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful location, lovely hosts, wonderful cabin with everything you need and a very comfortable bed! Very clean which is important to me and the towels are kindly changed often. Good location to drive and explore the island as Victoria is close and also the beaches of the south are not too far. We drove a maximum of 20 minutes and explored Mahe by car. We loved Petite Anse, Perrys Grills and the spice garden! We definitely preferred our stay here as opposed to the 5 star hotel we stayed in in Mahe.

It is private but very close to the main property and the pool is seperate. Just something to note.

Exceptional place and exceptional hosts. Beautiful place with a nice pool area. We really enjoyed our stay at Bois Joli and the hosts are so nice. I really recommend the takeaway catering available at the place - best food we had on seychelles. Very good value.

My son and I have just returned from the most amazing stay at Bois Joli. My son chose this "treehouse" as his 16th birthday present. Judith and Richard were the perfect hosts. Richard came down the mountain to collect us in his car - this was a lovely gesture as we had arrived in the area ahead of schedule. After our introductions we was shown to our villa which was identical to the pictures online. We stayed at Bois Joli for 2 nights and loved every minute of our own secluded pool. We took some bottled water and a few snacks with us as advised by Judith. The most yummiest breakfast & dinner can be ordered and delivered straight to your door. There is a menu in the kitchen in the villa and all orders are taken via WhatsApp ( I definitely recommend using this - the seafood platter is to die for 😋). The villa is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. There is ample floor space, the kitchen is modern, the bathroom is great and for a well deserved chill out in the evening there is sofa + lamp. The wrap around balcony is perfect for eating meals outdoors, school work and bat watching. You will find yourself right in the heart of nature here 🦎 my son loved taking photos of the geckos and fruit bats. We set our alarms every morning and took our places on the balcony to watch the sunrise over the ocean. Thank you so much Judith and Richard for letting us stay and share this little piece of heaven with you. We will definitely be back again very soon ❤️

Nothing. Everything is amazing.

The accomodation was simply amazing with perfect location (best beaches like Anse Royale, Takamaka rum destillery or shops and food trucks). You feel there complete privacy, almost like the whole jungle is just for you. The owners were amazing as well, telling us about Seychelles, giving us tips what to do, really exceptional service. I never give 10/10 because you “never know” if this is the best, but I am sure of it here. If we ever come back, we are surely staying here!

Incredible location. Stunning views and beautiful pool! The hosts Judith and Richard are two gems. Always helpful and smiling! If you want to experience Seychelles in nature and luxury definitely the place to be!

Nothing. Everything was great!

We were looking for something off the beaten track and away from the crowds and we found it! A lovely location in the hills but from the Villa we had glimpses of the sea. The accommodation was very comfortable, with a small kitchen, which suited our purposes. Good WiFi, and most important air conditioning! The bonus was our own pool, which we took full advantage of. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer. Nothing was too much trouble. Driving us to the shop for provisions, driving us to the rum factory (for a small fee) and recommending a food delivery service (which we can highly recommend) that we used for dinner but also provides breakfast. Two nights was not long enough and even though we didn’t have our own car, we didn’t feel the need for one. Simply perfect and would definitely return.

The hosts were great, and kept the villa very clean despite being in the forest with many animals. The private pool was spectacular as it is built on granite rocks.

Incredible Location „in the jungle“, fantastic setting (chapeau to Richard who had the vision to create it years ago), impeccable cleanliness, very nice decor, beautiful setting for the swimming pool area, Most appreciated of all the silence (broken only by the birds in the morning) and the kindness and helpfulness of Judith & Richard ( we really appreciated that). One of the most memorable Stars in our 20+ years of Booking.com clients!

Me and my now fiancée stayed for two weeks in villa 1 at Bois Joli and I have to say it is one of our best decisions ever. The nature is beautiful, it is quiet and somewhat remote, but with a car you can get anywhere in a short time. Mahé is small so this is not a problem. But what really completed the holiday were the hosts of Bois Joli! Judith and Richard are the perfect hosts. They take privacy into account, but are also open to a chat, are happy to help you get around and also give recommendations about the island. Judith even surprised us twice with some homemade delicacies! It was the perfect holiday thanks to them! Furthermore, the villa is cleaned every day and we found it clean at the beginning. Everything is absolutely perfect!

The only thing that for us could have been an improvement was maybe a fan in the villa besides the A/C and a big main light. But it are small things. The rest was absolutely perfect!

Everything about this place was magical😍

The hosts were extremely friendly and greeted me with a smile and fresh coconut water that I drank while they gave me the tour. I came for my birthday and they made me delicious crepes in the morning as a present. I felt very welcomed and would 100% come back and plan to

The only thing I would possibly like to be better are the beds. I've been so accustomed to my squishy bed at home and a little softer of a bed would be good but overall my stay was amazing. I would stay here how it is right now

The view of the balcony was fantastic. The room was sweet and cozy. Very clean and well equipped. You may find yourself at nature paradise. The pool was built on a huge granite stone. It was incredible. Judith was too friendly and kind. Best place for relaxing.

The bed and pillows were not too comfortable. The location was a little bit hard to find. Google Maps couldn't show the exact location.

We love the villa and the privacy it gave us from the world. The owners were amazing and understanding, especially Julie. We had flight changes and delays so she was willing to cancel the missed night and we didn’t have to pay for it and was always on hand for suggestions and help whenever needed. They cleaned daily and made us feel extremely welcome but also gave us privacy to enjoy our relaxed holiday.

Theres nothing really we didn’t like about the property. Just some suggestion for people who loves cooking and relaxing here instead of going out to eat or hit the beach every day. Maybe a private grill area for the individual villas and more cooking utensils for the kitchen.

Spacious room with good quality interiors. Location is beautiful, surrounded by nature. The pool also gives a vibe of nature. The hosts are very nice & kind people.
