BelgiumI would have hoped for better coffee :) The walk to haram is on a slope hence the name jabal Omar as such people who are not comfortable with slope walking rather take the hotel shuttle buses running every 10 mins.
We had the partial haram view room and it was amazing. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast was nice and with a decent variety. The dinner is recommended for those who do not want to go for junk food its value for money, compared to other restaurants around Haram area. The bus service was excellent and we almost never waited with shuttle buses running every 10 mins to Haram.

United KingdomThe only thing I can fault is we asked for our rooms to be next to each other and they were on separate floors. Otherwise everything was great.
I stayed at this hotel during July 2025 with my family of 6. We had two rooms with two singles beds The beds were bigger then a standard single so my two young children shared. They were very comfortable and the room size was spacious. We would eat together in one room and there was enough space for us all. There was a coffee machine and a kettle for our tea and actual mugs were provided which was a nice addition as other 5* hotels provide disposables. My children loved this hotel, there was a shuttle bus and a buggy service to the haram. This is good if you want to keep out of the sun, however it does take longer to get from the room to the haram via this service. I timed the journey from our room on the 17th floor to the Haram by foot and it took 10mins to get inside the masjid from gate 79. The buggy service take around 7mins as the buggy takes you up the incline and around the corner to make it quicker. Via the shuttle service it took between 15-20minutes, this brings you to the lifts of Conrad Jabal Omar and you would have to go down the lifts and cross over into the masjid via a few minutes walk. This took slightly longer however, you were completely out of the sun and on return it would drop you to the front door of the hotel. On one of the days we had breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious! so I recommend taking the breakfast option. Everything about this hotel was great and my family enjoyed the experience.

It was an unforgettable and enjoyable experience from the first moment because everyone made us feel at home, starting from the reception staff, Omar, for the housekeeping, All chefs were phenomenal as the food was top quality. Mr. Ahmed Magdy, the restaurant manager & Mr.Anwar in the restaurant management team ,along with Mr.Ali at the restaurant reception were all excellent. The location was great, only 5 minutes to the Haram. Everything was clean and shining. The facilities were exceptional 👌 It was our second stay at Marriott Jabal Omer, but this time, we chose to include breakfast in the booking, which I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a high standard breakfast. Also, Mr. Anwar gave us a great offer for dinner that saved us a lot of time and was top quality at an affordable price. Also, we would like to thank Mrs. Ashgan who offered us a late check-out due to our late flight.

United KingdomWhile the buggy service is really helpful, you still have to walk a portion of the hill yourself. For younger visitors this isn’t a big issue, but it could be challenging for elderly people or anyone with mobility concerns.
Getting to and from the Kaaba involves walking uphill, which can feel tiring, especially with the heat and after prayers. Thankfully, the hotel provides a complimentary buggy or shuttle bus service that runs 24 hours a day. It covers about half of the hill, and I rarely had to wait more than a minute or two.

EgyptI had an excellent stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, close to Haram by foot also buses running 24 hours, restaurants, shops. yet still quiet and peaceful at night. The entire property was spotless, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making the whole experience seamless from checkin to checkout. A big shoutout to Yassin from housekeeping, who went above and beyond to keep everything in perfect order and made the stay even more enjoyable. The facilities are well maintained, with great value for money, and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would happily stay here again.

We stayed in room 1210 with partial harm view. We were travelling with small kids and one of my kids is autistic. It was not possible for me to go to Haram for prayers. Though the window is showing partial Haram view but still I was able to pray in room as people in Harm were visible praying from the window. On the 3rd Floor, there is men and women prayer area with great Haram view as well. Good location, close to Haram, They have a shuttle service that can take you right very close to umrah gate ( bab e Fahd). We needed a bit late check out that was granted till 3 complimentary by guest relations. Special thanks to house keeping person Mehmood Fiyaz who was very accommodating and helpfull.

QatarI had an exceptional stay at this hotel! Everything was absolutely perfect. Housekeeping was always attentive and quick to respond, the reception staff were professional and helpful. The breakfast was royal for only 60 SAR, and I also enjoyed a delicious pizza at the café for just 35 SAR. A special thanks to the valet who arranged a taxi for my departure. The location is excellent, with a convenient buggy shuttle running back and forth to Al Haram. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. The room was very spacious. The staff was very friendly and there is a 24/7 shuttle and golf cart service to the haram. The mosque inside the hotel has audio connection to the haram so we can join the prayer if we cannot physically go to the haram. Will definitely consider staying here again
