Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndonesiaHotel supervisors should always check the completeness of hotel room facilities before guests check in. When the first time I entered the room, there was no electric kettle available, only two coffee cup and coffee & sugar sachet. I went down to the hotel lobby, I told the receptionist directly face to face, but after 2 hours of waiting there was still no electric kettle provided. Because I was frustrated, I conveyed a message via booking.com, finally the hotel management gave me a new electric kettle, their housekeeping delivery it to my room, he took it out of a new box complete with a manual and warranty card. So, I guess they just bought it after I demand it.
The check in process is quick and smooth. The staff accommodated my request to change rooms, which was originally an Economy Triple Room, changed to an Economy Twin Room. Room facilities are adequate. The location is not too far from the Al Haram Grand Mosque, still within a 3km, and there is a Makkah Bus stop near the hotel. However, I stayed during the last 10 days of Ramadan, the area around the Al Haram Grand Mosque was closed, so the public bus route was diverted. But there's no need to worry because the hotel management provides a Shuttle Bus from the Hotel to Al Haram Grand Mosque and vice versa specifically for hotel guests, they even provide free iftar. You can also take a taxi, its only about 5-10 minutes to reach the Grand Mosque. The lobby area is very spacious and there are lots of elevators, making it comfortable for guests. There is also a kind of convenience store down stairs, so it's easy if you want to buy something

EgyptMaybe the only thing I didn't like was the lack of electric outlets in the room. It was hard to find one in the room in an easily accessible location. I had to move out the night stand next to bed to find a one. Also, there should be a dedicated outlet for the electric kettle below the TV.
Very comfortable room in the most commercially dynamic area in Macca, '''Al-Azizeya'. Even though it is not close to the Masjed Haram, there is a bus stop 2 minutes away from the hotel entrance and it takes only 5 minutes to reach the Haram. The neighborhood has a lot of restaurants as well so it is easy to find food around.

Pakistanthere are some areas where the hotel could make improvements to enhance the overall experience for guests. Issues like outdated furniture, malfunctioning amenities like TV or cable, cleanliness concerns, and outdated air conditioning systems can indeed impact the comfort and satisfaction of guests. Providing feedback like this can be valuable for the hotel management to address these issues and make necessary improvements. Striking the right balance between affordability and quality is crucial for any accommodation establishment.
prayer hall nearby would be convenient for you during your stay. Being able to offer Salah (Islamic prayers) in a dedicated space can certainly enhance the overall experience, providing a tranquil environment for worship. It's great to hear that the hotel offers this amenity for guests who require it. Having such facilities nearby adds to the overall comfort and convenience of your stay.

AzerbaijanThe location is generally good, but there is no restaurant or grocery in close proximity. The nearest area where you could shop for grocery or eat is near Qatari Mosque, which is 6-7 min walk.
Thanks to hotel staff, especially brother Hani for quick check in and general assistance. The hotel and room was clean with necessary items provided daily (upon request). Room service was done daily afternoon. If you are not in the room you could ask for room service or cleaning and they would do it. I was there in Ramadan and access to Haram was easy with taxis for 5 or 10 SAR per person and it takes 5-10 minutes. Going back to hotel with taxi was 10 SAR per person. Going back to hotel after taraweeh was also easy with free buses near Ajyad bus station. The hotel also provided bus service during Ramadan, but I didn't use it. Elevators were always available and never waited too long.

QatarChildren playing in the corridor too late until after midnight and no one care. Internet connection is very weak. Room materials need to be checked before check in.
The hotel is in the beginning of ALAZIZYA. on the parallel street of the main street. It should be reached in few minutes from Haram. Taxis cost 10SAR but they ask for 70QR or 50SAR. The least I paid is 20SAR. From hotel to Haram it is 5SAR. But some taxis can ask for 20SAR or 30SAR. The hotel staff are very polite and very nice. The hotel has a small shop inside the main hall at the entrance. You can buy what you need. The room is okay. Size fine. Cleanness need improvement. Room materials need some care. The only thing is the Internet is VERY WEAK. Don't count on it. Overall the stay is good.

South AfricaThere was one very rude and aggressive shuttle/driver verbally abusing my wife. They don't clean the rooms often, you need to chase up.
I loved the shuttle to the Holy Garam. It was very convenient. The hotel's location was good on a busy main road, close to restaurants. We also had easy taxi access to Makkah Mall.
