How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Swimming Pool was not clean enough. Still WiFi is not strong enough. Food is almost English style. It needs to be more Arabic style

1. The parking at the back is not accessible as there is no one near the gate. And also, there isn't any direct entry to the hotel front from the main road. You have to drive back from tamimi all the way to the end and then get back from the service lane at the front. Second, the number of amenities (shampoo, soap etc) for a twin bedroom needs to be for each person, including a set of extra toilet rolls in case needed.
The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff are courteous. The linens were all clean and maintained. I liked the twin bed and individual cupboard arrangement.

Booking price is high comparing with hotel price my friend took same room with breakfast with lower price 100 sr which make frustration from booking price and now I have to check and compare your price with other before make the booking with you

We recently stayed at The Proud Hotel in Khobar for a short family getaway, and overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience for traveling with kids. Room & Amenities: Our room was clean, modern, and spacious enough for our family with excellent amenities for families traveling with children. The hotel features an indoor swimming pool and a dedicated children’s pool, both located on the basement floor and accessible 24/7. Additionally, there is a well-equipped kids’ playroom with various activities suitable for children of all ages.

The only thing is bed mattress not comfortable.
It's my first option in Khobar: The location is perfect, near all shops that you need. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Hotel, room, every things were clean and tidy.

Good property with good clean rooms. Housekeeping is very cooperative. check in and late check is convenient. Breakfast is OK. Location is good with many eating options and grocery store is just few steps away. Overall a good experience.

While my stay was wonderful overall, there were a few areas for improvement. The bed was a bit too springy for my liking, and a mattress topper would enhance comfort. Additionally, the pillows were a little too stiff; softer, feather-filled options would be a nice touch. I also found the breakfast start time of 6:30 am to be a bit late for those with early work commitments; starting at 6:00 am would be much more convenient. Lastly, while the food selection was good, it was served cold, as it seemed to be prepared well in advance.
I absolutely loved my stay at The Proud Hotel! The rooms were very clean, featuring new furniture and modern designs that made for a comfortable atmosphere. I appreciated the abundance of complimentary supplies, including a shaving kit, comb, toothbrush, and various toiletry items. The staff were definitely the highlight of my experience; they were incredibly nice, accommodating, and helpful, making me feel truly valued as a guest.

The hotel is ideally located right on the main road, just next to Causeway. The suite was spacious, immaculate, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff was exceptionally professional, friendly, and attentive to all our needs. The convenience of onsite parking made our stay even more stress-free. Albaik, a popular restaurant, was just a short walk away, although it only offers takeout, which was still a great option for a quick meal.
