Beautiful location in the hills. Loved the art throughout the property and my room in particular. I have a balcony that looked over the garden and the city. The food onsite was great and the service was spectacular. Everyone was so kind and helpful. When I needed a small amount of money exchanged last minute before heading home the staff personally did it for me. I've recommended this hotel to all of my friends.

My friend and I went for dinner one night and we personally did not enjoy the food - I had ordered an appetizer off the chalkboard menu and an entree the paper menu without being told it would be an extra charge for the chalkboard menu, so I was a bit surprised when the bill said I had two full entree charges. They later explained that it was a specials menu and I got charged for a 4 course meal - not a huge deal, and I didn’t care enough but I wish it had been advertised more. The food itself was fine, but not as good as other reviews I had read made it sound so we ate out. Otherwise all was amazing!

The view was beautiful! If the pollution is really bad, then you can’t see as well, but on clear days (and at night) it was very beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the shower was lovely with nice hot water, and the staff were all so nice.

A beautiful place with amazing art and a pieceful atmosphere. Our room war very big, clean and comfortable. The view over the city is quite beautiful. Everyone was nice and helpful. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variety. We also liked the menu for dinner very much (not included).

Beautiful view over the city and super big rooms with cool and modern decoration. We had a great dinner at the terrace and cocktails in the cozy lounge. All the staff is just incredibly friendly, helpful and make you feel at home. It's a perfect place when you want to explore Kigali.

I had a fantastic time during my stay at Eagle View Lodge. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home — always welcoming, friendly, and smiling. The food was absolutely delicious; I had both breakfast and dinner, and everything was prepared with care and great taste. But the highlight for me was the breathtaking view over Kigali — I simply couldn’t get enough of it. It's a little pricey, but you really get something nice so in my opinion it is worth it.

Really incredible place to stay. The people who work there are incredibly friendly and kind. The view is gorgeous. The rooms are very nice, and there are several different communal spaces where you can sit and spend time. The food was also great at breakfast and dinner!

Amazing location, set above the city of Kigali with breathtaking views. Extremely beautiful, friendly and helpful staff. All rooms styled beautifully with African art and furnishings. Eagle View Lodge is an all around exceptional stay. The property is gorgeous and well maintained and has one of the best viewpoints of Kigali. My room was gorgeous, very spacious, and had everything I needed and more! The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are cared for and have everything you need. All my meals were delicious and had great presentation. The spa team is also outstanding, I definitely recommend booking a massage! I can't recommend Eagle View Lodge enough for a great trip in Kigali :)

Delicious breakfast selection, however often not all available until 8am (despite breakfast starting at 7am) Very slow service even when advised have a set time to depart (e.g. took over 30 minutes to get a coffee, serving people arriving later first despite and then being rushed to finish) No hot water in penthouse outdoor tub. We a hot night so was fine but would be nice to have the option.

Stunning location! Stayed on two different rooms (standard and penthouse) and both were very private and leafy. Staff were very welcoming and there are dogs and cats at the property you can pet if you’re missing your own pets back home.

The most amazing hotel in Kigali, actually Rwanda .. actually scratch that … Africa ! Location is above the pollution line with beautiful panoramic views of the city. The rooms are luxurious with balconies full of flora and exotic birds. And art everywhere. The staff are genuinely warms and welcoming and the food and cocktails are to die for.
