Location is in a bad neighborhood

We had an amazing stay here. Room was lovely and well equipped, staff were so friendly and helpful - Jackline arrange everything for us which made life very easy. Food was great. Would highly recommend staying here - Thank you so much

There is hot water but it’s not a lot and only lasts a short time!

They do not have a street number for the taxi. No bottle of water & no shampoo just a small bar of soap (they can add extra money to room rate for that). It took them more than 2 hours to prepare fish fillet & vegetable because they buy the ingredients from supermarket & guy was late. However, the manager apologized for the delay.

We loved everything starting from our arrival. The price was very affordable for the service provided to us. The host was always there and smiling. The apartment and the area was spotlessly clean. The finishing of the home is top-notch. The breakfast was very satisfying and adequate. We could also use the washing machine, and there was always staff to help us. The terrace has a beautiful view. A special mention to the details in furnishing the home, it's really spotless.

Fantastic stay at Makeri. Secure, serene location, amenities modern and very clean, staff extremely helpful and kind, tasty breakfast included. Everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Musanze.

Nice room in the center of town in a street with street food options. Still quite calm. Very nice staff.

In our room there was a beeping noise coming from a neighbour’s electrical installation. Not really the hotel’s fault but it could be heard all night long.

Great place to stay and rest, amazing value for money, quiet in a very busy city! The staff were amazing and super accommodating, we definitely recommended!

The hot water doesn't last very long in the shower. The WiFi is weak; I was unable to stream Netflix using it.

Exceptional kindness from Jackline and Lilian. They were very kind. My apartment was spotless. As others have said, the location is slightly (less than 10 minute walk) out of the main town, but for me this was one of the best parts. I loved the location and I never got bored of the incredible views from the terrace area. Amazing value for money, fantastic views, a clean property and excellent warm staff.

I know Muzanse is cold for Rwandans, but I would have liked a fan in my room 😀

Confortable bed and pillows. Nice terrace with a view. It is possible to wash the clothes. Good value for the money.

There were many ants and other insects inside the house. It does not feel very safe to walk around the neighborhood. It can get quite noisy as there is not really sound isolation.

Super apartments and good staff

Location is okay but in a poorer street

More modern and spacious than most hotels in the area for a significant cheaper price. Most hotels in Musanze are outdated and feel dead. Breakfast here was also perfect with friendly staff and even a laundry service. Residences and lodges like these are to go if you plan to come

These are some minor things. Despite hot water being available there are times where it just doesnt work anymore after using it for a time. Although this issue is present in the whole district. The mattresses are too hard to my likings and the toilet paper is uncomfortably placed making it hard to reach when sitting on the toilet

Amazing staff, very helpful. There is a washing machine, they can wash your clothes for you or you can do it yourself. They offer to clean your shoes after treking or your car. Very nice food. Quiet place next to the busy road.

Our two bedroom apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Good wifi. Great to have the option to eat meals cooked for you onsite (served either on the deck which has a lovely view or in your apartment, food allergies also catered for), cook for yourself in the apartment or eat at a restaurant in Musanze. Located in a local neighborhood it’s a flat 20 minute walk from the town centre and bus station (or you can take a motorbike/taxi). We felt very safe at all times. The staff were lovely and Jacki was so kind and helpful, she arranged a taxi for us to Volcanoes National Park, a boat trip at the Twin Lakes and tickets for a soccer match, including walking with us to the stadium to make sure we got in ok, all brilliant experiences. We would definitely stay here again.
