“Our stay at Mantaray was nothing short of exceptional. The whole setup there is excellent and promotes both relaxation and cultural learning. The staff are a standout with an eclectic mix of personalities - Jim, Rapote and Anna were standouts for us.
We took part in the village tour which is a must-do, the hand-line fishing which was good fun for an afternoon and a number of the free activities such as the Meke (dance show) and Kava ceremony. All of which were timely and good fun. We have already said we’ll be back again which is no small thing as we’re literally from the other side of the world!”

They treated everyone with so much respect and made us feel like part of their community from the moment we arrived. Even the little things they did, like a smile or stopping for a quick chat, made such a huge difference and really stuck with me.
The island itself is absolutely stunning — crystal-clear water, lush green mountains, and such a peaceful vibe. The activities were amazing too: snorkeling with reef sharks, fishing at sunset, climbing the mountain for those epic views, learning on the medicine walk, or just kicking back in a hammock soaking it all in.
