“It was really nice to be welcomed back by the staff. The room was really spacious and the bed very comfortable. Nice and quiet too. Great selection at breakfast. The hill top location gives great views.”
“The rooms are clean and have a fridge and kettle. Staff is great and were super helpful when I needed a room change. Breakfast is very nice with lots of options. Rooms have internet and there is a generator in case electricity fails. Location is good, as you can walk to supermarkets and restaurants. I planned to stay for 2 nights, ended up staying for 7 nights!”
“I would rate around 70–75% of the hotel staff as friendly and helpful, but unfortunately I can’t say the same for the housekeeping team. They consistently failed to provide basic amenities like shampoo — we had to ask repeatedly, and even then, they would promise to bring it but never did. Our coffee machine was replaced several times, yet it never worked properly. What was more disappointing is that while testing the machine, they used the complimentary bottled water in the room, and when we asked for replacement water, we were told—rather rudely—that only two bottles were allowed. The tone was both discourteous and unwelcoming.
Additionally, despite the room being booked for two guests, only one bathrobe was provided. This lack of attention to detail reflects poorly on the service quality.
From a price–performance perspective, I was not satisfied at all. This hotel does not deliver value for the price it charges. I strongly recommend exploring other options in Freetown. If I return to the city, I will definitely not stay here again.”
