“Pool is nice but very dangerous. Lots of sharp tiles, we saw two children cut while we were here for two days. No safety around pool whatsoever.
Andrew at the bar was amazing, very helpful with directions and accommodating for our young baby.”
“There's so much I could write about this hotel. It is absolutely fantastic. The most wonderful front of house staff and manager who is always around.
Typically Tuscan, plentiful breakfast, great pool with ample sunbeds around. Spotless clean rooms. The mattresses are so comfy and the pillows are like sleeping on a cloud. Lots of free parking.
We had a room at the front with a large balcony over looking the beautiful Tuscan countryside. I can't praise it enough.”
“The building and the gardens are beautiful. The breakfast was good and varied; we especially liked the pistachio croissant and the fact they had seeds to add to your yogurt or fruits.
The room was spacious and clean and had a view of the town. The staff was helpful and friendly; they went the extra mile and sent someone of their own to pick us up from the train station, as we couldn't find a taxi”
“What to say about Torre di Ponzano? We got more than we expected, we got great accommodation and new friends. Here you can find perfect landscape to enjoy with a glass of wine (so relaxing), here you can refresh with great pool (which owner Andrew cleans every day), here you can get some useful tips for your travel in Tuscany.
The room was clean and the owners surprised us first with a welcome drink, then with bread, cookies, water, coffee and milk (they also took care of gluten free dietary) which waited for us in the room. Alba and Andrew were great hosts (you rarely meet people who are so nice), they are great people to talk to and laugh with, they really wanted to see us have a great time in their accommodation, they made us feel at home.
So, if you want friendly hosts, beautiful landscape, traditional Tuscan home and beautiful pool, this is a place for you. This is a place we hope to come back to soon.”
“Tucked away in the enchanting medieval hilltop town of Colle Val d'Elsa, Palazzo Pacini is more than just a hotel; it's a meticulously restored 17th-century historic residence that offers guests an authentic and peaceful Tuscan experience. This family-run establishment strikes a wonderful balance between old-world charm and modern comfort, making it a standout choice for travelers seeking tranquility and a genuine sense of place.
The owners are friendly, helpful, and hospitable, often going out of their way to ensure guests have a memorable stay. The delicious breakfast, which is prepared on-site by the owners is exceptional for its quality and variety.
For those looking to explore, the location is ideal. Palazzo Pacini is conveniently located for day trips to Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, and Volterra.”
