“From the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly faces throughout my stay at Almond Beach was truly exceptional. The two gentlemen at the front desk went above and beyond, making me feel valued and at home. Despite some disappointing past experiences touring in my own country as a local, here I was treated like a guest who truly mattered. The property, the service, and the atmosphere were all perfect, I had previously booked for one night and went ahead and extended my stay. I will definitely be returning! And highly recommend!”
“Crash Pad Adventure Hostel in Hopkins might just be Belize’s best hostel. It’s not your average backpacker stop; it’s incredibly clean, thoughtfully maintained, and has a very cool design. Every detail feels intentional, from the smart layout of the rooms, to the artistic touches throughout the property. It’s clear that this place was built for travelers who appreciate comfort but who don't want to pay for unnecessary extras, like a television in your room.
And then there’s the staff — Juan, Cornelio and Eva were a little shy at first, but that’s exactly what makes them so genuine. They’re hardworking, kind, and always ready to help when you need it. I was floored when I learned that they actually built everything; walls, showers, furniture - EVERYTHING!
Most of all, they gave me a true window into Belizean life and society. My conversations with them added depth to my stay and turned my experience into something memorable and authentic.
Between the spotless cleanliness, the creative design, and the warm, genuine staff, Crash Pad Adventure Hostel is far more than a place to sleep, it feels like a whole experience. If you’re curious to explore Belize, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better hostel anywhere in the country.”
“Fabulous location, beautiful scenery and really quiet. Bikes and kayaks are freely available and there’s a small beach and a great pier too. The restaurant is very spacious and a good range of food and drink options. However the rooms are the jewel in this crown, large, immaculately clean and serviced everyday. We had no 7 and we had white silky sheets and white fluffy towels with an abundance of hot water in the shower and the washbasin. Soap and toiletries are provided too and there are loads of sockets. Alan’s is a short walk from the bigger beach with more bars and restaurants. The staff are fab and the manager is so helpful too. Alan is ever present and has a wealth of knowledge and a dry sense of humour. We would love to return”
“Great hotel, just what we needed for a night before heading to the islands. Very friendly staff, and felt very relaxed.
The rooms were basic and comfortable, good air con! There was coffee, water and bananas available for snacks.
Very well located for cafes / docks / bus station (we walked from there to the hotel) / airport would be a few minutes by taxi.
We’d stay again.”
