    “Very nice and helpful receptionist. Perfect location, surprisingly the room was very quiet. No problem with free street parking in front of the hostel on saturday evening.”

    “A nice boutique-style hotel, situated in a historic building, facing the central square of Banská Bystrica, in the very close vicinity of a few hundred metres of practically all tourist attractions, museums and monuments, such as Central Slovakian Gallery and the Dominik Skutecký Villa with garden, and three main jazz bars. The tourist sightseeing train is a few metres away. A large room, with confortable bed and pillows, welcome water is appreciated. Breakfast is in general superb. The elevator to the room floor and garage floor world fine. A well-secured underground car garage at the price of EUR 10 per vehicle/night.”

    “We didnt have lot of expectations. The accomodation is located in spectacular area with lot of well maintained parks and healing waters. The building itself is part of the national heritage, so if you would like to see how life was in the 193X, it is worth of it. All staff is very professional and friendly. Big plus is 24/7 medical emergency available on site - very helpful especially for older people who represent the majority of guests.”

    “Stunning historic property, quirky but fabulous room decorated with unique art and antique furniture. Exceptional value for money ! The hotel was incredibly quiet except for the noise from a parrot in a courtyard nearby. The location was perfect - just below the old castle and near an excellent ruin bar that had some lovely live music. We paid for breakfast in the cafe below which was also great and good value. There were two sitting rooms available to use but it didn’t really have the feel of a hotel - more like being a guest in the house of an art collector ! Would recommend doing the silver mine underground tour in the Skansen - you need to reserve a place.”

    “Historic mansion in the center of the Halic town with plenty of parking. The mansion is undergoing a reconstruction with a stunning level of precision with a selection of premium materials. The room was spacious with plenty of storage and a large bathroom. Wifi coverage was excellent. A large screen smart TV was available, not the usual hotel small screen TV with no functions. The breakfast was excellent with a very wide selection of meals and beverages. The breakfast buffet included real delicious coffee. Since the reconstruction of the mansion has not been finished yet, the breakfast was served at the beautiful Galicia Nueva Castle Hotel. Seeing this castle hotel was an experience by itself.”

    “This was our very first family vacay with our 10 months old baby and truly it was an experience we will always remember 🙂 literally we spent all our time in the resort area with: lot of fun in the swimming pool, on the playground, big sleepy sessions, eating amazing food together and wandering around the beautiful scenery. Thanks for everything, we loved it! ❤️”
