“Staff are fantastic. They gave us recommendationss for restaurants beaches and places to visit in Villasimius and in other areas. They even helped when we got a parking fine, translated everything and made it easy for us to pay the charge.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with fresh local pastries and fresh fruit. The large shared outdoor balcony was an added bonus.”
“The pool area was really good with plenty of space. The staff were super friendly and always had a smile on their face. Check-in and out were done efficiently. Breakfast was varied but pretty much the same most days, but that isn't unusual. However, Hotel Palau did have an additional breakfast station each day with a different theme - e.g., doughnut stand one day, another, fresh fish, foccicia, smoothies, etc. - this was in addition to the standard breakfast. That was a nice touch. You were severed hot drinks really quickly. The view for breakfast was stunning. The service was great. The room was clean and made up each day, and housekeepers were really friendly.
Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Cocktails were especially good.”
“Silent air conditioning and very quiet in the rooms generally. House staff were excellent with water and coffee in the room topped up regularly… and surprisingly often. Staff friendly throughout and a good breakfast selection. Could have done with some complimentary nibbles in the room. Breakfast had a supplement for things like Eggs Benedict which always seems off to me. Very clean and well kept throughout.”

“Close proximity to Olbia Airport, but do Google it first, with its new, full address, as another “Borgo” ref will come up on a road nearby. The lane up to the Site needs to be taken slowly. Plenty of parking on site. Rooms were really clean and comfy, the air con unit is probably the best balance; it is really quiet but very, gently effective, not the viscous air flow, like some have. Great you could have a cocktail at the pool. Dinner was delicious. Staff really welcoming.”
“What I liked the most was being upgraded to a room with a beautiful sea-view balcony. The hotel is right on the beach, and the restaurant has a stunning glass terrace overlooking the sea. Having breakfast there in the morning while watching the boats go by was just amazing. The hotel is also just a 10-minute walk from the historic center, and the walk was very pleasant, passing through the beautiful Maddalena port.”
